Two years ago our family of 6 bought 20 acres of off-grid raw land in the mountains of North Idaho, and quickly got to work developing it into our dream homestead. We are currently building our new forever home, and we still have a long ways to go! This is our story so far!

I've watched from the start and it was amazing how much Jeremy changed in all this time! That clean shaven face to the bush man he became. I have enjoyed watching your journey so far and am looking forward to the remainder! Some of your projects seemed almost big until you conquered another. Some ended up paling in comparison in the realm of size and effort, but looking back they were all amazing steps forward. With the remainder to be done, some of the past projects have come to fruition; i.e. the tiny house, the indoor bathroom, running water, shower, garden. What joy to see you being able to physically in every day life move so far forward. You, all of you, have amazing stamina to keep on keeping on during stressful days. Sometime I felt your stress just watching. Other times I felt your joy. But during all the time that has passed since the beginning of this enormous project, you have set aside to home school and teach your children those things they needed and also to set aside time to play and bond outside of the great push of work, work, work. You all are to be praised! God blesses you daily, because you keep your journey true. God bless you even more!

The two of you have did it, nobody was hired to come in to do anything but dig a well for the water that I could see.
