I just want to say that whoever is doing the video editing has some serious skills. You guys put out a quality product, especially so with only cell phone cameras to record with. It just shows another side of your overall commitment to excellence in all you do. Couldn’t be happier for your incredible family!

Oh and how amazing it is that you will forever have this footage to share with generation after generation. :) If you are able to post a link to the story that was filmed please do as I'm sure we'd all love to see it.

Karl, I totally agree with you. The way the family works together, is silly at times, and the whole homesteading, self sufficiency, it's what we all need to be doing. We truly need to bring back all those good, family values. I pray that more people begin to watch these guys and learn all of these wonderful things. And to Melissa, Jeremy, and family, good luck and God bless you. You are amazing. (So, see He already has, and will continue.) 🤗🤗🤗

Jaynee, a lot of that comes from being homeschooled (and her wonderful parents). Kids that do not attend public schools are taught by what they see their family members do. The more loving and considerate their parents are, the more the children learn to behave the same way. This just shows that Melissa and Jeremy are awesome to their kids, on screen and off.

You two parents work so well together. That's how it should be. Such a good example for your kids. It's heartwarming to see it, and to know it still exists. I've never actually seen it in action in my own life...

The first thing I do when I open stuff that needs to be assembled is look for the directions. I'd rather do it right than do it twice. Everyone at work harasses me about it but whenever they need stuff put together, they come to me.

Melissa’s fear of static shock is palpable😂. Eli reminds me so much of my youngest when he was little. He could find dirt in a sterile environment😉. I love what you guys are doing! Your videos always make me smile❤️

My little brother was like that. The stuff that was in his pockets at the end of a long day of playing. His clothes would move on their own on the bathroom floor.

You know I envy you guy's for going off the grid with your family, it takes a lot of courage to do something like that to just get up and go and wonder what will happen along the way....you're doing something that a lot of people want to do but can't....I wish you all the luck in the whole world to get to where you're going with your dream home....💕💕

What an amazing family adventure in the mountains! I love that you are being recognized by a media outlet, for your homesteading experiences ❤️ Melissa, you are spot on about opportunity knocking, and a door opening up. For me it was a lifechanging move to Denmark, from Canada, at age 40. That was 23 years ago! An opportunity can mean summoning the courage to follow a new path, because it means leaving your comfort zone and taking a risk, but it’s so rewarding when you realize, hey… I’ve got this! ❤️

It's refreshing to see your family living a normal, useful, and functional lifestyle, away from the craziness of city life, politics, and Washington's theatrics! You chose the perfect time to escape to the country with your children. It's like watching "The Waltons," "Swiss Family Robinson," or "Spencer's Mountain," as wholesome entertainment.

Melissa, I watch you and your videos. We, my husband and I thought long and hard about buying a Croft in Scotland UK during the early 80’s and bringing up our daughter and 3 sons. It wasn’t to be. The money we had, husband working 7 days and me 5 meant we barely survived never mind save money up. Our children however have turned out humongous. One a Senior Sister, one with his own business in home maintenance, one who is a director of a hydraulic company specialising in lifts used in building construction and finally one who specialises in fabrication/welding. Well done to you Jeremy and your family. The point of this is please publish your thoughts you have at the end of each video, they are for me an inspiration. 😘

I love the mountains, it is so so beautiful :) What a fantastic day trip. I'm gonna do that this weekend, the temps are supposed to drop down to the 70's and some rain..... HIP-HIP-HOORAY !!
