This has got to be one of THE loveliest van builds I've seen in a long time. Just wonderful! Your deco aesthetic is soooooooo comfortable. Indeed, it reminds me of my home/apartment. When we used to tent camp with a cooler I figured out how to keep the food dry. Of course the first step is that you never trust any Ziploc bag, they always leak. The next thing is that I had two large plastic containers about the size of a sun team jug that closed with lids on the top that screwed on. I put the food in there and then all the ice outside of it and it worked really well.

Well I would assume it is probably because they did not kill any of those animals personally themselves not to mention she/they did not say they were spokespeople for PITA.........and perhaps she even felt like she was making some use or a home for the remains she did find. Whichever scenario it isn't really your place to make any sort of judgement because at the very least you do not even know these individuals. Have a lovely day!

I absolutely LOVE that Goose has his own room, that's rather unique. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for folks being who they are and doing their own thing. I don't care if someone is vegan and I'm not interested in their nutritional needs, just like I'm sure a vegan would not appreciate me telling them about being an omnivore or how I source protein. Treat others as you wish to be treated. One of the reasons my ex is my ex is that she felt compelled to take any excuse to tell folks our son was on a gluten-free, casein-free diet and how it was so much work being aware of what goes into food and acted like she was the one that was grinding rice into flour and coming up with meals we could all enjoy. I finally told her one day, "Shut up about it. If folks want to know, they'll ask."

A lot of van lifers travel with their cats. It's tricky as far as a litter box goes, finding ways to keep them from running away, and you should have a harness and leash to walk them, but it is do-able.
