This happened to my parents, too. The moving company held their stuff hostage and continually jacked up the prices. Once they received their stuff many items were missing or broken. This was not uhaul however it was another moving company.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with U-Box. They promised delivery to North Seattle from Texas, I held on phone numerous time for HOURS dealing with them. They delivered it to an hour south - Auburn, WA. I was so mad but nothing I thought there was nothing I could do. I should have Got Jesse. I paid a LOT to move and they did not honor their end of the deal.
