Thanks Graham for a great update. Love the scenic work you have done on the layout and the weathering tips. Thanks for the tip on repairing the Dynamis handset, screw looks better than my elastic band!!

Thanks David, yep I am amazed myself, but I guess covid has sometimes brought out the best in us all as well as being very challenging to get through. Onwards and upwards, thanks for your support, cheers Graham 👍🙂

Really interesting video Graham, I grabbed a beer and watched the whole thing start to finish. Couplings - something I will tackle later but nice to know I can look back here at what you've done. The weathering is something I've been practicing now for a couple of months and like you I think a "less is more" weathering is a really good start - nice work, I like what you've done. Thanks for the update & layout tour - great ! Thanks for sharing....................Andy

No problem Andy, enjoyed making the video to pass on what is just my opinion on the subject really. Thought it may help nervous people just starting out. Cheers Graham 👍

Hi Graham enjoyable update, tips and tour of your layout. My loft space was a little like yours and it was not until I saw it back on a video (that my wife took for the grandkids at the beginning of lockdown) I notice that under the boards required a spring clean. The weathering looked just the job, thanks for sharing and take care..

Thanks for watching and your support Barry. A bit late on a reply but I think you must have fell through the net. Only just noticed your post. I like to reply to everyone who posts if I can. That might prove harder if the channel becomes more popular but I will still try to do my best to thank kind people like yourself. Cheers Graham 👍

Very informative and interesting video, I may try fitting those nem pockets to some of my older stock. I have fitted some of the Elite Hunt couplings by just glueing them directly to the bogey but your way gives opportunity to change coupling.

Did like your presentation on fitting NEM sockets. I purchased at the Glasgow show last weekend the Hornby Network Rail GUV R4571. It has the old Lima coupling and when I spoke to Chris Hunt, did he do the Hunt coupling for it, unfortunately not at this time. It is planned for the future. I went on to buy the Vectis 3D conversion units. I am a great fan of the magnetic couplings and all my stock, hundreds of items have his units.

The beauty of the conversation kits is you can then add anything into the newly fitted nem pocket. I agree the magnet Hunt couplings are good, they don't always fit every situation. Went back to small tension locks on my bachmann MK1 coaches. They didn't get on with the kinematic nem pockets. A bit brittle too, Cheers Graham 🙂 👍

If you have a resin 3d printer ive just finished making an upgrade part for a bachmann deltic- should need minimum mods to fit a 37. Free if you want it

@@WHP1980s I’ve still sub’d as the content is good.....just without the volume
@WHP1980s3 жыл бұрын
Just to add, most people like the music and have commented on the fact, but saying that I do struggle to get the right volume level to background noise. But as I don't do narration but titles there is always the option to turn the sound down/off. Thanks for the sub though. I endeavour to keep everyone happy, but is usually an impossible task. I value the feedback all the same. Cheers Graham 👍
