One time I was in the store and the lady in front of me, gave the cashier her coupons at the end of the transaction. Does the comma go there in the previous sentence? I am not sure and it's bothering me. Anyway, the cashier said: oh no, you were supposed to give me those before. I was wondering, "Before what?!" Later, I learnt she could have told her to clear her transaction and started all over again. Well, live and learn (I guess).
