I pretty much stopped shopping at any Kroger owned stores and try to do all my shopping at Aldis because they purposely don't do any coupons or digital adds or memberships, just really cheap groceries and no frills.

Don't forget coupons where they are only good for online purchases, not in store purchases, or the other way around. My favorite are the ones where you go in to buy something, find out about the coupon from inside the store, then when get to the register they tell you, "Oh, that's an online only coupon". THEN WHY THE ***** IS IT IN THE STORE!!!!

Coupons were never pro consumer. Businesses only ever do stuff that benefits them.

The digital coupons are a crazy concept, but yes, I will scan the barcode or clip them in the app to save 5x a transaction.

I used no less than 5 digital coupons at Kroger today. Sucks that you’re expected to scan them and add them on their app when they could have just been applied to their loyalty card.

I want the coupon day that Gennero was referring to in original Jurassic Park

Refresh my memory on that. I don’t think he really embellished on the concept, just started seeing dollar signs.
