It's not really that uncommon for Korean guys to do skinship with one another in real life. We used to have Korean classmates in our class and they were sometimes pretty touchy feely with other boys (hugging from behind, holding hands,etc). It was sorta natural to them, but it wasnt in our culture so the other guys felt pretty weird abt it at first but then got over it and ended up all over each other by the end of term lol
