In Chapter 8 of John, Jesus teaches in the temple during the Feast of Tabernacles. He challenges the religious teachers as he teaches the people. “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” John 8:12
He shows the way to freedom, by teaching the people. “…‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’” John 8:31-32
You can be free indeed if you embrace what Jesus teaches in His Word.

I am trying to embrace his teachings. I need to grow in the areas of letting things go and letting Jesus/God take control of what I can not change. Thank you for all that you do.

You read that whole chapter without even realizing you are those pharisees. Of course you are, you serve the pharisees God, whom gave you the deception Matthew 24:4-5. Calling him the Christ of the John 8:44, that's the deception. If you don't mind, can I ask a question? Are you of your father the devil YHWH, or are you just really really confused as to who the real ABBA is? It's a fair question

I'm only repeating his words " you are of you father, the devil" Who was he talking to? The who's who of YHWH followers, which is you. "Law of Moses", "Jesus said to YOU, Moses is your accuser, because you put your trust in him", he's talking to you ma'am, can't you see? Jesus said, in THEIR law, in YOUR Law, in YOUR synogues, that's you, the Pharisees. Jesus said Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. That's you, the law following, trusting in Moses, following the wrong John 5:43 Jesus, called the deception Matthew 24:4-5, because Jesus hasn't chosen you yet MATTHEW 11:27 That chapter is you, the Pharisee You just can't make this up
