Yeah, considering that this episode, if you replace a few words, is about a lesbian couple that are separated because of a pimp gang leader who kidnapped one of them and abuses her, is then rescued by someone after he kills 2 of his underlings, with the pimp leader eventually being hit by a train, yeah, not sure how this made it to air.

The reason Courage freaks out about learning Kitty is a cat is because of his past experience with Katz. I assume he went out of his way to help Bunny not only because it's the right thing to do, but also because he feels awful in that his opinion of cats is no different that Kitty's opinion of dogs.

I assume due to his troubled past, Eustace married Muriel because she was the first person to be kind to him/make him happy. He just couldn't get over the attention she gives Courage when she adopted him. It also explains why Muriel didn't want to visit his mom in the Mother's Day episode. Not only did Courage free Bunny from a terrible relationship, he indirectly helped Muriel and Eustace's relationship by leaving them at home to settle their issues.
