Just finished watch sixth hole. Three great shots from Lester on a short par 3 for bogey. Tough day, tough scoring but the golf is still impressive.

I spent a week locally one Summer house sitting, and played Perranporth about 4 or 5 times that week in absolutely glorious hot weather. It was tough off the whites even as a single handicap player, with brutal rough and hard greens. But how I loved it. And those views.

Hi Dan and Bernie. Dan, I met you the day before you recorded this just before you had nine on Bernie's channel. The weather that day was very benign and you commented a couple of times that the greens at Perranporth are what protects the course, presumably from being too easy. I'm so glad that the following day's weather was a bit tougher!! That is what protects the course and that is what the members face 70% of the time at this time of year. A fantastic course and a real challenge as you witnessed. Great video and well done both of you. Keeping your good humour was the challenge that day.

I'm lucky to visit Cornwall every month for work. I joined Perranporth as a country member for 3 years a while back . The club was the friendliest I've ever played. The course is tough when the wind blows ...but those views are to die for. Must get back and have a game in summer. Great vlog boys

I have to tip my hat to you two gentlemen. To play in sustained winds like that is tough enough, but Dan was cold as well. Not sure I could have played more than 9 holes before heading in. Am glad I don't have to deal with such strong winds.

A great bit of self reflection Bernie.... Being truthful with yourself for any aspect in life or golf is never negative, as it is the best way to identify changes required! But you need to set realistic targets now.... Or should I say timeline... Scratch is the target but if the practice schedule is hard to commit to then adjust the time line.... Results will be better and gives you more content as well 😊
