You cant carry a gun, concealed, legal, whatthefuckeverperiod. There are two laws for everyone. Case in point. In my town a cops hits and kills a guy walking across the street at ten oclock to go to work as a dishwasher at a bar. He has a handicap and limps badly. The cop said the guy was drunk and was walking in the street. The real truth comes out. The case is shipped out of town to county police. Nothing is heard about this again. A regular civilian hits someone on a bike at night and the guy is wearing all black and comes around the corner. They guy gets killed. The driver goes to jail for not paying attention even though the streetlights are few and far between and you know personally that area has tons of crevices for bikes to come out of. Its in the paper daily for a week. Now how is this remotely right? Its doesnt even seem like justice from the same planet?
@efew18143 жыл бұрын
to be fair there were a bunch of witnesses that claimed it was the guy in the black shirt who dropped the drugs (according to the officer). If you were an officer and you showed up to a scene where everyone there was saying that one guy did it would you not also take that guy out of the room and question him? The one that gets to me the most is the judge dropping a fire-arm and getting away with it. That is an example of broken our system is the powerful can do stuff like that yet imagine if anybody else dropped or even attempted to bring a gun into the court building.

"Couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that it was actually a weapon." Oh okay. Object was mostly silvery metallic looking on upper half and dark on a small portion, which similarly looks like the pattern on a revolver. must've been snubbed (compact) nosed since it would need to be easily concealed in pockets. Looked to be a L shaped when he picked it up and when he tucked it under coat. If you had someone re-enact the scene with an identical revolver, it'd look like the same object. BUT HEY, I guess it's not actually that weapon since it's a judge. Had this been a normal citizen, he would've been held at gunpoint and it would've been a felony charge
@Temo9903 жыл бұрын
Like other people already said the doubt occurs because non of the security guards reacted (and it seems like not testified that he had a gun either). You might assume that a law enforment officer would react if he sees somebody droping a prohibited object. Even that creates doubt that it actually was a gun. And the video footage is not good enough. And why would it be a "felony charge" if they explained in the video that carrying a (legal) gun in a restricted area is a misdemeanor?
@justin-c1k5k3 жыл бұрын
@@Temo990 you are a reasonable man sir!
@angelicakoutsouridakis58163 жыл бұрын
And now this will be used by other lawyers trying to say that a criminal did not have a gun because silver metallic objects can not be proven to be guns even when people walk past and see it’s a gun. So not sentencing that judge will actually lead to criminals getting away with having concealed weapons. That’s how defence lawyers work and they use stuff like this to keep dangerous people on the wrong side of the bars.
