Your explanation is clear. Of all the KZbin videos about TW Ohaoh, yours is the best. I would encourage you to make more educational videos. Thanks for your help.

Yeah its weird, simple in the end but not well designed

I assassinated Tausret in court to take over her position, thinking she would be gone from the game and replaced. Only for her to still live and showing up later in court again as the Pharaoh.

I miss the system from Atilla, I know I am probably the only one. But there was real risk reward by having your leader as a leader of an army, because one stray arrow and you were done. But the influence gained was huge. Your heir or someone else in your family would take over, so it was risky. Civil war could break out if your leader did not have the influence. Lots of negative traits, they were hilarious, and interesting positive traits. But it was somehow really fun to have kids and get them into positions of power or as generals and build up influence. This court system just does not do it for me, doing nothing but gossip to find out about plots, with the only really advisable thing to do is pay gold to stop them. Spending or risking legitimacy never seems the right move, as you will need it to make a run for Pharaoh and the idiots you can actually kill are just replaced so it seems pointless. Especially in the late to mid game where the fighting slows down, and you need to build up your economy to be able to afford the armies for a real push, a lot of legitimacy is lost with that -1 mechanic as the turns go by.
@LordForwind6 ай бұрын
That mechanic did make the game more interesting. The expansion for the game is going to add family trees and stuff for succession so maybe something like that will be added.

legitimicy falling down or it in the minus when you have battles right?

@LordForwind3 ай бұрын
you just have to slowly build legitimacy from buildings and owning land and then win a civil war. Focusing the pharoah during a civil war really makes a difference. Also during a civil war look to get vassals while you can.

@@LordForwind thanks bro! i didnt know that if you have more legitimacy then pharoh in civil war you then become a pharoh! thanks!

Despite having a postiion at court and many temples/cities I am permanently at -1 Legitimacy, what could cause that? It does not specify why I am at a -1. I am playing with no mods. EDIT: It seems you have the same -1 at 13:47, what happened to cause that?
@LordForwind6 ай бұрын
Hmm I can't remember but off hand check: Is there a pharaoh in office without a struggle for the throne? Have you declared for the throne? Have you lost any to another faction scheming against you or from failed plots? It's possible you lost some randomly from an event? Otherwise I don't know
@chungang70376 ай бұрын
@@LordForwind I finally found it in one of the tabs, it is explained that the -1 is natural as people forget about your exploits in battle. Kind of annoying, but it is what it is.
