Great vid. I am on turn 36 with Ramesess and Its awesome. Few things to add from my experience: - I recommend trading legacy! - Selling otherwise useless ancillaries, and mostly food which you have tons of later is great deal. The thing with Trading legacy Is that You don't have to go back with caravan after first trade. Only limitation Is that You can go to one location single time during one caravan cycle. So With my 3rd caravan I had pretty good understanding and planned my route. In first location You just sell ancillaries and some of Your food which has neutral price and buy cheap offered stuff (marked as red) than go to another location which has on high demand stuff You just bought, and for example buy gold scarabs. One gold scarab is 200 gold. This sorted out my early game gold problems. And there Is even more good stuff - You can get powerful ancillaries for Your generals. For example companion that gives -20% upkeep reduction on tier IV, V, VI units, or dagger that gives -10% to upkeep to all melee infantry. Basically you can bring whatever You need back. You need stone? Go get cheap granite blocks - this is +1200 stone. I feel this should be default option for all factions to go and send caravans, Its so awesome. - Getting 100 happiness In Your recruitment province gives permanent boost +6 to morale to all recruited units - Getting Bronzeworker In Your recruitment province at max level will give +10 armour on all recruited units - Make sure you have Shrine of Ra In every region of recruitment province. It scales with religion tier. On Tier III one gives +3 melee defence on recruitment In province. If you have 4 You will get +12 melee defence on every unit which is super powerful. - I delayed joining civil war until I conquered Sinai and East Sinai. When You join civil war clock on It resets to starting 20 turns. During civil war plots are move powerful - You can steal more legitimacy that way even You didn't join. There Is still 11 turns on my civil war clock and I am already leading with 90 legitimacy. - If you have spare court actions because Your plot Is already at 100% You can use them to get request from viceroy of Kush for nice gold boost. That's free 200 gold helped me in early game. - I found myself lacking of stone a lot - trade agreements are very useful to offset that. Additional 200 stone per turn? Why not! Have fun!

I wanted to go Conqueror Legacy but who wants to wait so many turns to conquer City, and gold cost was big no to me. I hope they will balance that out. With trade legacy you have all the options you want. You want be good ad sieges? Get ancils with -1 siege time :D. I found two already, there might be more. Trading legacy makes you so rich that you can afford more elite armies and beat sieges with ease :)

Good video! I like seeing other techniques. Personally, I’m conquering the world with Tier I militia units. Instead of struggling to supply enough bronze and food for a full stack of Medjay, I just build two full stacks of militia. My second army follows around and reinforces my first. Then, since I’m not using bronze, I trade most of it away for food and stone. Once you take a gold mine (there’s one in Sinai, I think), it’s over. Trade gold for whatever you want while rocking the world with max rank militia! Pharaoh is surprisingly fun. I really enjoy the mechanics!
@LordForwind8 ай бұрын
You never really want a full stack of elite units, just a few sprinkled in with the militia! The second army is a common strategy/problem of TW games.

Alright, but joking aside I ran into a man issue in my campaign: I went for the stone settlement in the South like you said, conquering one of the factions along the way, but before I can reach it, Mernaptah declares war on me for no reason! This is by turn 9-10. Is this supposed to happen? What should I do? I believe he must be a strong faction being the pharaoh
@jinhunterslay163812 күн бұрын
Hi, sorry for spamming comments but I can't find any answers for how to deal with Merneptah declaring war on you early on the internet. It's like this only happened to me! Should I pay him off with a non-aggression pact? I'm a new player so any help would be appreciated

From turn 1 trade your wood, you can trade 60 wood for ~250 stone that's help a lot in the first turns.After you conquer your first province , capture Timna, securing another bronze settlement, next conquest Hetch and colonize the stone settlement securing your second province. Next Target is Beersheba to conquer the gold settlement and more food settlement, now if you have peace with The Cananites go to Egypt.

@@LordForwindThe trick to trade is start early with every single one on the map. It sucks to have to trade 10 of this and 10 of that with everyone, but mid to late game when there is less ppl those trade deals will go up. A lot of time the AI will throw crazy stupid deals to suck you dry but don’t let it. Make the deal work on your favor cause it keeps the peace for the most part, Well it helps. Just remember to set the trades for 10turns each time is a pain when you got to do tons of trades. I keep my income on everything at a few hundred each. 10 of anything 10 times is 100. I want to say it’s less than 20 ppl in the start cause fog of war. That’s why I say start EARLY EARLY! ASAP trade trade trade. You can suck the nations around you dry of everything by having them sell you it before they can use it. That’s why you have to start early. I will take may stater resources to make trades and buy Stone and wood from everyone that is stack with it… They will try and buy it back later but refuse and make another deal instead. Trading can be op asf, suck the computer dry.
