Toby Keith passed away about a month ago from cancer. He was the one of the most patriotic artists ever. He originally wrote this song for the troops that were deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan, but one of the soldiers' family members convinced him to record it and put it out for everyone, I saw him in concert three times - once in Iraq and twice in Europe when he came to our welcome home redeployment ceremonies, Amazing man. You can't pick a bad song if it's a Toby Keith song.

while many said he needed to publish it. It wasn't until Commandant of the Marine Corps General James L. Jones told Toby if he wanted to contribute, publish the song. Boosting morale will be your way to contribute.

Love this song and as someone else stated it's referencing 9/11. Not sure if you got a chance to resd the lyrics but he said we'll put a boot in your ass, it's the American way 😂 it's one of my FAVORITE lyrics along with this Big Dog will fight if you rattle it's cage which is referencing the Marines, they're nickname is Devil Dogs. So glad you found this one. How do you like me now is a fun song. 🇺🇲 I've lived in Texas & east Texas but from Louisiana. ❤❤❤

I also watched "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" without any idea of what it would be about. But, wow! Talk about a moving movie. My favorite part was when the father, who was unknowingly part of what the concentration camps really were like yet he was a high ranking SS Officer....and the one day that the father had to chase his son through the wooded back part of their property and found his son. Found him in a huge clearing, at the fence of the camp, conversing with the little Jewish boy whom he had befriended. Pivotal moment for the father to wake up to realizing what was really going on and that he was such a big part of it.

The certificate was considered “honorary“ after he completed the courses. He was not qualified to run the tanks. That has become the second national anthem, especially here in New York. A well respected artist, gone too soon. 🇺🇸✌🏼 Edit: he actually said, we’ll put a “boot“ in your ass, that’s the American way. Fitting for a country rock song. 😂

My favorite part of that movie is when America kicked Germany’s a$$ and saved the few that was left. That movie was one of the saddest things ever. Even though no kid should’ve died it was retribution to the father to suffer that way when his own kid died the same way he was killing thousands of Jews. But at the least the German kid didn’t share his dads disgust towards them considering he befriended the Jewish kid
