i think one sign to know if a guy likes you is he looks or even stares at you often. He can't get enough of you. He may be so attracted to you because of your looks or what you do, or the way you dress. It is natural for men to look at each other, but if the guy is always looking at you more intensely, you realize that he is attracted to you and likes you more than just friendship.

I was like Thank you for trusting me, and I’ve just tried to be supportive. She has gone out her way to talk to me, be in classes and projects with me and everything. She now gave me a heart made of wood she made. And she confessed she has the biggest crush on me. I’m a bisexual guy and I’ve recently fallen in love with a boy for the first time! I absolutely adore him and think he’s stunning, but I don’t know whether he’s in for a queer relationship or not. However, I feel like he’s been giving me signs lately: for example, he held the door open for me a waved his hand to show that I could go first (this happened actually two times in one day), he gave me a compliment on my Dutch speech, which was specifically meant for me and lastly, today he turned around just before our test and said: Good luck with your test, Bram. And that while his friend were sitting around him… So anybody, what are your thoughts on this? Are these clear signs or not? PS: I had to read the first question on my test about five times because the sound his so beautifully saying my name kept buzzing through my head and accelerating my heartbeat😍

There's this guy at my job who is a sales rep. He's never around but still he finds ways to pull small talk with me every now again. When sometimes in conversation with other co-workers he will mention my name jokingly and be like "You should let Nathan do that" or Nathan would be good at that" stuff like that. Then once he asked me about a product we sell and he came into my personal space for a few minutes well. Like the only thing he didn't do was touch me , I swear, he was that close. Damn I got so hard. I'm not openly bi I wonder if he's into me. He also is almost always looking at me even when I'm not looking at him he looks my way or at me when I'm walking in his vicinity. I just know. He called the work phone and asked my coworkers to speak with me , then he asked me to send pictures of a product for him which forced me to end up asking for his number and giving him mine in exchange. He could have asked anybody else for that. Why me? He also called my phone and then came to the office asking me if I got everything organised for him even though there is a girl he deals with directly to sell stuff in another department, like dude you don't have to speak to me about that stuff but it's like he wants to involve me in whatever he's doing. I'm not very talkative I never really spoke to him like that alot. He's hardly around, but he's cute af but I think he has a gf. Anyway I'm not gonna out myself it's too risky and I don't think he will so 🤷♂️.

Although your video covers strictly romantic relationships, my perspective regarding friendship might slightly differ from traditional social norms. I enjoy building deep relationships with people because I want to know a little about them. While I believe most males do want to have deep relationships with their peers, certain stigmas are attached that stop them from doing so. Hence, cases of depression and even suicide can be traced to a lack of good relationships. It is a strange male hierarchy. You want friends, but out of fear of losing social status, we deny what we truly do deserve. Males believe that they have to act masculine and not show any aspect of femininity. Hence, forms of power and privilege come into play that stops us from getting what we want. Hence, men feel like they have to act like a real man so they do not lose their status as a male. However, the sad truth is, all males and females were not built to run independently but rather inter-dependently. Males need feedback from other males. There are only some things that only males can understand as well there are some things that only other females understand amongst each other. However, instead of appreciating difference, social norms that come into play of masculinity and male privilege impede our own identity. Although most plutonic male social circles consist of joking or even getting drunk, I really do not have the share the same cultural social norms. I do not get drunk. I confront people who make jokes about other people. While most guys may say “Derek, you just got to chill,” I consider this form of communication to be under-accommodating. Paths of least resistance would have people just go with the crowd. However, I do not value dominant beliefs when it comes to male privilege or even just building friendships. All friendships should be deep, not just the ones we have with our partner. And just because we desire this it does not change our identity. Just because a male wants to hang out with another male does not necessarily mean that they are gay or bi However, because of dominant social norms, our collective consciousness from our society becomes invaded with nothing but lies. That is why if I knew you in person, I would want to take you AND April out because I know that you guys are 1 unit and mean the world to each other. However, just like any human being, you might find out that April and you might want to have some alone time with your individual social circles since it is friends that help keep us afloat. It is sad that most people have to see a shrink since they lack same gender relationships. Hence, if I took you and April out to dinner, it is because I want to show it as an act of benevolence because I want to make BOTH of you feel special. And I think this world needs to change some of its social norms and drop the whole macho attitude of trying to act like a real man. However, I do believe that a real man has their own beliefs, and it is these beliefs that can change social norms. Have you heard of the Paradox of No Effect? It is a believe by Ghnadi that states that people do not think they can change the world even though they want to therefore they end up doing nothing. It is true. 1 man cannot change the world. However, the collective actions expanded over generations can change the world. And 1 belief that I wish society could hold on to dearly is that same gender forms of discourse, symbolic and verbally, have no set way of communicating amongst each other. A male who shows interests in another male does not mean they want to have sexual relationships, but it can simply mean that they understand and know that building deep relationships with each other can help to build an emotion support network, both in forms of social capital but as EMOTIONAL capital as well. There is nothing more powerful to know that another male shares similar feelings as you do, and this feels bestows power upon you Maybe, for example, you could be going through a divorce, hopefully not, but sometimes having that male support network from same gender relationships can actually even SAVE a divorce. A shrink cannot do that. A friend can. We may not know the words to say. But sometimes even taking a couple out to dinner communicates this same idea that a single male can support a relationship between a husband and wife. Even a woman who is a friend with your wife can have that same power.

@@Phineas1626 Even jokingly shared amongst all sexual orientations that bodily dysfunction or bodily dysmorphia may nor nay not matter, there seems to be a correlation between mental health and biological function. Although redundant, I purposely used the word dysmorphia to avoid being specific AND to illustrate that dysmorphia is a mindset related to what you think about yourself. Unfortunately, talking with other males about such reproductive inadequacies is usually only shared with a doctor. Males feel uncomfortable talking with other males when it comes to this. I'm not sure if this is part of the bro code, but it's definitely goes against a path of least resistance. What is a purpose of making friends? Although sports, get-togethers, parties, and formal engagements are ways to built trust and comraderrie amongst males, such relationships can only go so far. Especially if you are a married heterosexual male with body dysmorphia thinking your wife is not happy, you NEED to talk about this just do you can maintain your mental health! Yes, you can talk to a doctor, but your doctor doesn't really know you. He or she just knows your medical history. You need to tell a friend. Although not meant for comical effect, the people who may have your problem are other males. Well, whoop-de-doo. Although I've discussed mostly medical issues, there are other areas dealing with mental health and your overall happiness which brings forth confidence and a sense of self-esteem. Marriage issues not related to dysmorphia need to also be discussed with a male friend. Let's say you and your wife just had a fight. You think she overreacted but she claims it's you who overreacted. Yes, you can go to a marriage counselor. And yes, you csn talk this over with a female. But who do you think can relate to your problem and not judge you? Another male! This has been mostly about males. This can also be applied to females. They have their own struggles too regarding mental health, but their support networks ate generally stronger. However, they can get into fights too, even fights about guys they like. Yes, if they don't sort things both of them may never agree to talk to each other again. We need to build these strong support networks, but unfortunately, our uwn superficial relationships is what is secretly destroying us. Sometimes you need to fight against the path of keast resistance to help out others and thus build deep relationships. After will, thoughts like "is he gay" are more asinine to our mental health because it takes away what can rejuvenate our own stability as mankind (that includes womankind, and they-kind).

You seem to have a deep perspective on this matter and I must say that I have agreed with you on this topic for a very long while. It is disappointing to me in society that platonic same sex relationships are dwindling due to the perspective that is increasing today that everything emotional or “feminine” in platonic relationships are a sign of someone being gay or bi. I think it emphasizes the stigma of emotionality in men as well as increases the support of macho men and people having to act manly. This creates a feedback loop of supporting gay relationships while degrading the importance of platonic deep relationships with people who love each other very much perhaps even deeper than a romantic partner but platonically

The hard part is getting to like someone who is already taken but still want to get to know me and look at me when I'm not looking.. which is why it's hard for me to let go of that person if that person won't let me go.. I tried to let go but it's hard to let go cuz my feeling is just too strong to dislike a person.. what should I do?... My crush is already taken and just wanted to get my attention even friends of that person talk to each other when they see me from a far....

I’m bisexual man and it’s kinda hard me finding a boyfriend ( I’ve recently came out) but when I was “ straight “ it was easy ( I never had a boyfriend btw )
@ViolentRainbow2 жыл бұрын
I think it's easier for straight people because they get to at least assume the opposite gendered people they meet are also straight, with gay people you just don't get that and on top of facing possible rejection you also face possibly falling for a straight person which I have done so many damn times it's not even funny and it's really soul crushing to find out they're straight and it will never happen. Honestly I've given up trying to meet men in my normal life, I pretty much only meet guys on apps.

I was a lot stunned because I do but wasn't sure what to say because I'm almost 70 years old and wondered if she was just teasing us or just me. I'd like to get with him but the age difference confuses me. How to tell if it was a real question without coming out and asking the guy or girl.
