I just recently heard of the NyX face awards and I must say you are by far the most talented imo. I've watched both of your videos and the things you have created with just a make up brush, make up and body paint is wonderful. you didn't have to use any extras meaning special effects make up, kits etc. you didn't need any additives you just needed well.... talent. Ok, so the thumbnail doesn't do this justice. The immortal look is a really lovely mesh of 90s couture, 20s drama, with some Victorian gothic edge. And laying the green shadow over the brown for that richer, more velvety color got all sorts of wheels in my head spinning! The contour on the neck & chest of the inner demon is UNREAL, as in it looked painted on a 2-D surface, but painted so well it brought the 3-D look. Illusion inception. And the idea/story struck a chord. I've been living with treatment-resistant Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, generalized anxiety & panic attacks, varying degrees of depression, and occasional mild agoraphobia for over 10 years, with tendencies and episodes dotted throughout childhood. OCD is really difficult to treat, and the "refractory" type of treatment-resistance is fairly common - traditional therapies don't work, doses of antidepressant medications are often much higher for anxiety than for depression (to control which chemical is being affected), and it's not quite a delusion but rather an idea that bypasses the logic center WHILE the logic center is still functioning and continuously reminding that the compulsions make no sense. Even controlled, it's a constant fight on loop just below the surface of my thoughts; it sucks energy and keeps the horror genre of life on hand for stressful days and nightmares. It's taught me to become an actor, to build my persona every morning. And bottled up tight, it makes me bitter that my life has had to work around it, and resentful to both the people I trust and tell who know I'm often *not* okay, but pretend anyway, and the people that casually treat me like a normal person because they have no idea (probably we're all to busy keeping our own issues at bay that we blind ourselves to others). I've wanted to wear a bruised, beaten-looking makeup to appear how I feel when the bitterness surfaces, but aside from dabbling in special effects, the most I ever really do is purposefully leave concealer off my dark circles... a little weak, haha. Thank you for making this real, and for making it visible.

I love the over all makeup, and I really like the black liquid eyeliner choker,and for the inner demon look i like how to complemented the red with the black. However I don't think you incorporated the 'Timeless" part of the challenge (if you think otherwise i would love if you could explain) .However the concept went perfectly with Beauty. A little through the beginning of my thought process, though - When I thought of timeless, I thought of everlasting, immortal...I knew I wanted to do something a little darker, gothic inspired, and different than what most might think when they hear 'timeless beauty', and then from there it just developed into the inner demon concept :)
