I'm trying to get thru the entire Rich Dad Poor Dad book. This is my 2nd or 3rd attempt to complete it. One thing I HAVE gathered from it, is making Assets finance your toys. This is an ideal example of that.

the book for me was a very hard read. I'm in sales and it felt like I was being sold if that makes sense. I would try Think and Grow Rich (there's a version for African Americans as well) and The Richest man in Babylon.

The car is not an asset. I’ve read the book years ago - do not mistake this car as an asset. But I have applied the book to other aspects of life and investing.

Thank you for sharing! One question though, how would this method be different than financing the car in your name and using your rental income to pay for the note? Is there a drastic difference in interest rates or is it something else that I'm missing? Thank you

One benefit would be having the car expense being a business deduction and lowering your taxable income versus having no tax benefits for personal expenses.
