No, the community forgave the store owner because he thought he was being robbed. He didn't know what was going on. He was later interviewed by Channel 7 news and he was crying and stated that if he knew he would have locked the doors and called police. How would you feel if a person tried to jump your store counter and you don't know what happening? Don't be so quick to judge unless your'e in their shoes. That entire situation was nuts. And on top of all of that, how do you and your crew have beef with someone who is the wrong person? It's just crazy. It was a big thing out here in NYC because the kid was in The Police Athletic league. He was an aspiring police officer. PAL is something that young kids do when they are aspiring to be cops. That’s why lawyers encourage people to take a plea deal and plead guilty because if they don’t, depending on the crime, they could get double or maximum sentences. Courts literally don’t have enough time for every case to go to trial so it helps them out too. Speeds up everything and gives the person incentive to help the detectives out.
