Good video showing how even established NBA stars admire and respect the phenomenon that is CC.

The people who came before Caitlyn Clark did not “lay any groundwork” for her. They were insulated in their own world and they played for themselves. They were hostile to other players who did not look like, or think like they did. They treated Kaitlyn accordingly when she entered their sphere of influence. Their collective main goal regarding her seems to be to hurt her badly enough to end her basketball career. By every game-skill metric of a player, she out plays every single one of them. She owes them exactly nothing.

One one says that people should appreciate those that came before Jordan. That fans should acknowledge Bill Russel and others. Fans should be able to like who they want whether they know about the great players of the past or not. The players of the past had their chance to appeal to the fan base. Has nothing to do with the players of today.

Caitlin Clark didn't come into WNBA to be treated like a princess. She came in to "PLAY!!". Caitlin does not owe any black female players before her any favors. Black and white players before Caitlin "All" have and still pay their dues playing in WNBA. What Caitlin Clark has done is showed up all of the WNBA players as not really working harder to do better job of making it a much better league. And That is A Shame in the women's League as a Whole from the Top down. 😠

I'm sorry, but none of the players from the past laid down anything. The WNBA never made a profit for a reason-nobody cared about those lazy, mediocre players. It's like if my brothers and friends were playing, and then I got called the GOAT just because I happened to be better than a bunch of nobodies. The WNBA has been like that for almost 30 years. I call it the retirement league for a reason. Most of these WNBA players don't like to work hard. They mostly trot lazily to the other side and wait for the ball to fall into their hands. Caitlin Clark is the one who brought college basketball speed to the WNBA, and suddenly these lazy players have to bust their chops to keep up with Clark-and they don't like it. So what do they do? They try to beat the speed out of Clark by knocking her down time and again. Well, that didn’t work, and now they really hate her!

Thank you … the info in this video justifies all that Caitlin and NBA new players endure just to play their game .

She's only 22, she's just a monster baby. She'll be unstoppable when she gets more experience. Players will have to defend her from the parking lot. If you're late, you'll get three in the face from the logo or an amazing assist. She's just a kid. Wait until you see her growth in the game. She's a generational talent. I just hope a mediocre coach never comes around to her, trying to sabotage her game.

Well, that's it for that! Well done WNBA players referees and associates. You all do not have to worry or think about Caitlin Clark ever again. You all can go back to being nobodies. I had never watched the WNBA until the Caitlin Clark effect. I live in Minnesota so I will be watching the last game of the year. After that I will never watch WNBA again. Congratulations you all got what you all wanted. Oh yeah and deserve... Now I will be upgrading my cable package to receive European women's basketball games. Later for you all!

Hang onto your streaming packages. Caitlin isn't going to Europe or any other place Overseas They are already Playing in foreign countries and Caitlin is Playing Golf, not Basketball You got Suckered by some BS AI LIES. Those very same Channels said Angel was Barred For Life because of Steroid use, along with some other BS about Aja being Banned & Her MVP Award, taken away, for steroid use too, I believe Rest Assured That Caitlin will be back for next season, Ready To Rock and Roll, just like she said she would be. Stop believing the AI Channels. YT Lets them tell All The LIES, they like with no consequences

You have Caitlin saying she's looked up to and appreciates these Players but they didn't appreciate her at all. Especially Diana, that's why I was happy Clark put her in her place ,and she retired with a wimper.

I felt all along this could happen. I was really afraid that the haters were going to hurt her bad enough to end a season or worse. This is by far a better ending. I do hope i will see her play again I enjoyed her no look, fast passed, behind the back, dribbling and passing. She's alot of fun to watch what the hell were they all thinking. Oh yeah i almost forgot they called us fans racists. Ok thats a wrap.😮

Caitlin has indeed acknowledged many players of the WNBA, past and present. When talking about a once in a generation player, like CC, it isn't required or necessary for there to always have a "but" attached to her accomplishments. Her accomplishments are unmatched. One day, someone will come along to topple her records, but the horizon is clear for now. Give her the "flowers" she has earned. No player has done more to help the WNBA succeed. The thing about sports is that everyone isn't equal in skill/talent. Here's a tissue!

Is like I said they praised her offense everybody is completely silent about her defense these young people today think basketball is all about offense it is not defense matters just as much as offense does it doesn't make us yet how many points she scores if the other team scores more points because they're not playing good defense and I think that's why Christy sides was fired is because she never worked on their defense they could have gone further if they didn't have the second worst defense in the league you can't just have a great defense it's something you have to work on I can't believe these girls come out of college ball and don't know how to play defense

What’s with this “acknowledge those that came before” nonsense. When have we ever done that in the NBA when new hot rookies come in? Never. We all know that Magic, Larry, Wilt, Kareem, and MJ exist. We don’t need to talk about them when Zion and Wemby enter the league. This WNBA narrative is beyond stupid. The “what about me” nonsense is just silly. Is this Jr. High School??

Strange, I never hear when talking about a new NBA player that is excellent must praise those before them. She loves the GOATS and they love her if truth be known. This was an activist league, that is what I want changed and that includes the refs.

Catlin is wired differently, which is reflected in her dynamic game. Her intellectual and emotional I.Q. is remarkable. But the bottom line is she is so much fun to watch. Subconsciously, there is another reason people watch; The monomyth, i.e., the hero's quest. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hero%27s_journey

The truth is they give her praise for her offense you've never heard anybody give her praise for her defense because she has none and if she doesn't get some defense she will never be the greatest WNBA player because she doesn't even know how to play defense correctly She lays off her man she does not know how to get up on a man and put her body between her opponent and the goal and her arm out between the opponent and the girl with the basketball on the other team she doesn't know how to bend her knees and get down in a defensive position she runs out there when her girl gets the ball with her arm straight up and she gets burned every time I can't believe she is so great on offense but she has never worked on defense in her entire life these things I mentioned are things that you learned in junior high if not before then you learn how to move your feet you can learn how to get down close to the ground have you ever seen a track star start running the 100 m from a stand-up position have you ever seen somebody run the 40-yard dash from a stand-up position even though they are not in the blocks they are as close to the ground as they can get even with one hand on the ground and she does not know how to bend over Bend her knees and play defense correctly or she just doesn't want to one or the other play she will never be considered the greatest Michael Jordan was considered the greatest because he was the greatest defensive player in the league he was the greatest offensive player in the league and this was through his entire time with the bulls
