Wow this is the first judge that reads jury instructions so fast to keep up and usually the judges explain if you don’t find the murder doesn’t meet this criteria then you go through this and that. I bet is going to cause confusion and long deliberations and questions for clarification. I may have to watch the whole trial back . Now I understand why people were saying so many negative reviews and comments because is unreal and they will have to read it all over again.

The prosecutors closing arguments were succinct, factual and drama free. Easy for the jury to understand and process. The defense's closing was overly dramatic, acted out like a bad play, poorly spoken (hard to hear) and some of what the attorney said actually worked in favour of the prosecution. Not having followed the whole trial, based solely on the closing arguments (which is like a summary of the most important arguments in each side's case).... I would vote guilty. Depending on the reality of the situation, without condoning violence or murder as a solution to anything... if I were a grandmother and I felt a true threat that could be threatening to my daughter and grandchild, I would consider the trade off of being in jail for the rest of my life to be a reasonable trade off to ensure their safely of that threat.

You have obviously never been to court. She has to read the jury instruction like that in court, but it's very long and tedious and the jury goes back over the instruction when they go back for deliberation. That's why she reads it that fast. It's a formality and she's trying to get it done as quickly as possible to get on with deliberation. I would know because I was actually there and what they don't show in the video is her explaining why she is reading it quickly.

Do you just believe everything you hear? Those were all lies. There is no proof for any of it, but what there is proof for is that it was a premeditated murder and that’s why it was simple for the jury. And just because someone has a porn addiction means they deserve to die? He wasn’t being accused of rape or being a pedo either but I guess you just believe everything that comes out of a random woman’s mouth. Which cuts it down to two options. Either you were dropped very hard on your head repeatedly as an infant, or you know Pamela.

This prosecutors arguments are garbage. The type of arguments they teach you how to make in law school. Well she's 5'2 but she was allowed to be a police officer. Therefore she loses her right to be afraid of a 6 ft 2 guy. You don't know if she has PTSD. You don't know if she feels scared In the fact that she's armed to the teeth can work both ways. Why is she feel like she needs to be that protected all the time? Is it because she's 5'2 and 60 years old? She was a detective in the police department that's totally different from doing road patrol for 30 years. And she was in the military like 40 years ago. You're allowed to be wrong when using self-defense. But you have to be in reasonable fear of your life. So the keyword is reasonable. It's a objectively subjective standard. What would a reasonable person of sound mind do knowing the facts that you had at the time if they were in your subjective shoes.. That's why so many police cases are not guilty. If they know that a murder took place and you're waving around a fake gun they are allowed to fire their weapon. If an assailant has what looks like a knife, and they charge at officers after being commanded to drop the item. The police can still be found not guilty because it's through a subjective standard of what they think is happening. You don't have to be right. But it's the jury that will decide the truth and the facts..
