I will like to say I find the court tv preferential to the defendant . Hearing them say that they didn’t think the treadmill video was abuse was a sting. What kind of people do you have working at your company that they think that type of behavior is normal do they do that to their own children? They’re not working for court TV? Seems like you have child abusers possibly working within your company . I will boycott and make sure others do if this isn’t addressed .

He bit him in his scalp bc it wouldn’t show the bruise of the teeth but it would hurt him every time he touches that part of his head. It’s a sign of a serial (professional) abusers. I didn’t know before I wrote my comment that he worked at an abuse hotline before: he knew how to inflict pain from that, by talking to victims of violence. Also the fact he worked in a nursing facility:who hasn’t heard of the terrible abuse elderly are subjected to. What a sick man.that poor child, the only thing that’s true and gives me peace is that that child is in the best place ever now with god in paradise. When everything is said and done that’s where we all go one day, or with a track record of deeds like that man and his lawyer it’s safe to say: they will end up somewhere else. Free will exists for a reason and this life here is not all there is. That child is saved and in paradise now. I’m so sorry for his mom. Subjected to further abuse by this abysmal system that thrives on the suffering of people. “Justice system” what an oxymoron.

It wasn’t the bite for me but the way he leisurely strolled around while his son was running for his life. The way he complacently stood by while a little boy ran as fast as he could then deliberately changed the settings to ensure the boy’s failure. The way he didn’t reach out or move a muscle as the child was beginning to lose ground. The way he watched a small child be flung off the treadmill and made him resume running at the same high speed. The bizarre way he picked him up behind his back, under his arms - in a way that would be painful. The bite was just the end of what im sure were many many cruelties. What a monster.

I totally agree with what you're saying. The first video made me cringe on seeing Corey run and run for a terribly long time. I wondered how much longer his father would make him run at such high speed while he himself was just strolling around, not really doing any exercise himself. It seems to me that the father's sole purpose of going to the gym was to make his son run endlessly. From the start of the video I was astounded to see how such a small child could run so rhythmically for such a prolonged time, without missing a beat. This fact clearly shows that Corey had been forced to run on the treadmill many, many times before. As I watched him, I thought to myself that this was way too much physical effort imposed on him by his father and wondered whether so much stress could damage his tiny heart. Any other 6 year old would have stopped the treadmill, gotten off and rightly refused to be subjected to such a torturous workout. But it seems to me that Corey well knew that getting off the treadmill wasn't an option while his father kept a vigilant eye on him from afar. I was also struck by the fact that there are no other people there using the gym's facilities Most probably, the father chose to go there at an hour when there wouldn't be any witnesses or any grownups who would intervene and force him to get the child off the treadmill. For me, this is a clear sign of pre-meditated torture on the child whom he treated as if he was a heavy-handed and sadistic army drill sergeant. And the second video is truly horrifying, The father willfully turns up the speed of the treadmill, without any concern for the child's well-being, and as the child slips and falls off the treadmill several times (undoubtedly injuring himself), the brusque manner in which he picks Corey up to violently place him on the treadmill again is quite shocking and inexcusable. This sadistic father then closes in on Corey, his large body looming over the tiny boy in a very menacing way, as if saying, "You'd better not fall again, or else." It is obvious that Corey is very scared of being punished and tries to do his best. There are no signs of tenderness from the father towards his very young child. And then, when this monster bows down over Corey, clearly biting his head, there is no sign of surprise from Corey. It is evident this has happened many times. When they finally leave, there is no sign of camaraderie or intimacy between them, and as the narcissistic father turns to walk out, Corey lags a bit behind, which clearly shows it is not a loving relationship. That man is a narcissist and a bully who should be held accountable to the highest degree, and his defense lawyer is truly a joke.

Very well articulated; my thoughts exactly. That sweet boy is in the loving arms of a Heavenly Father; the antithesis of his hateful, demonic earthly father. Chris will suffer every earthly day in prison, as even inmates don’t tolerate child killers. Justice will be served. Christopher’s eternal destination will be the choice he has made. What people don't seem to understand, that even the child understands, is that the child has to go back into the sole care of the abusive parent. And if the abuser finds out that the child has been saying things about him, BEFORE THEY GET THE CHILD OUT OF HIS CARE, then the child will be even more abused. The child knows this so he cannot say anything despite someone outside the home saying don't worry it will be fine. No it won't! The child CANNOT TALK before he gets removed.

And furthermore, that hospital visit that the poor mom had to fit in to try and protect her son, to convince a stupid judge, probably infuriated this abuser, thinking the child HAD already leaked something, and probably kicked him a few times or threw him onto sonething. That hospital visit and then being forced by that judge to bring the boy back to the abuser, was what led directly to his murder. So much for child "protective" services. All they care about is making sure the richest parent gets their pound of flesh, NOT the child's safety.

Keep hearing various people interviewed who are downplaying the abuse, since when is biting your child's scalp not abuse? Making him fall? Apparently they don't believe a kid is being abused until they are beaten unconscious, bones are broken, or as in this case, the kid dies. Stop coddling the abusers. You're giving the benefit of the doubt when there is pure, unadulterated evidence on film. Good grief.

@@looking4things669 Depending on the equipment in the area, how it’s used, and the supervision that must take place, I disagree. Plenty of us have had home gyms and we can’t just have someone come over to watch our children just bc we want to work out. If that was the case, I would’ve had to call a babysitter 6 days a week! The issue with what this monster did is bc he was FORCING this poor little boy to do it, telling him he was fat when he was not, dragging him back onto the treadmill in a forceful nature after every time he fell off, BITING his head, and so on. When my daughter was quite young, she WANTED to work out with me, just like the commenter above was discussing. For responsible parents who watch over their children like hawks, it’s never an issue. We don’t let them on treadmills or any piece of equipment that could hurt them, I mean duh lol all I had were kettlebells, dumbbells, resistance bands, heavy bag, a pull-up bar, and a Bowflex. I didn’t own any free weights with barbells or a treadmill. My daughter would lift 5lb dumbbells beside me as I’d get my own reps in bc I showed her the proper technique and form. She took it seriously. Some kids actually listen and know how to remain safe (under supervision ofc), plus I had safeguards in place to ensure she couldn’t access the gym without me since it wasn’t in the house. My daughter’s now almost 20 and in AMAZING physical shape, I mean literally like what some of these fitness gurus look like, and it’s all bc she wanted to workout with her Momma. It builds character, confidence, skill, and integrity. You don’t have to force them if they desire to do it just because the parent is. Anyone who does is disgusting!!

@@LarisseMontrose he had the child running on it for quite a while, it was as if he was pissed the child actually doing it. Probably bc it's a daily occurrence and that boy knew he didn't have a choice. But he was doing it without fail- It Only made this losers seething anger worse that he turned that on high, steep incline. The boy did it until his legs gave out. Didn't give him a chance to get on. That poor child was trying for his life and that's evident. No he shouldn't have ever been on the machine but imo he should've never even been in the custody of that man. People are blaming football. This 6 year old had one day of FLAG FOOTBALL TRY OUTS, NO CONTACT. Didn't cause all of these bruises, neither did the treadmill. Moron savagely bites the child, beat him with a bat, kicks, punches, scratches, along with mental/emotional abuse of trying to make the child feel like a fat worthless failure. Oh how I wish that mother just kept that baby to herself and never contacted him for DNA/child support. Leading to him getting the child resulting in death. Ugh Mom should've never contacted this jackhole, she had to know how awful he was.

This explains the pathetic actions of Child Protective Services and police doing nothing when Chris violated visitation time with mom. Mom had to do all the traveling for all visits. That defense lawyer didn't win anyone over yelling at the pediatrician because she didn't chart that the child had to be pushed and prompted some to give his answers about how he was hurt/abused. Common sense would tell you that child would be scared to tell on his dad. Keeping the secret is how they get away with it. Of course he would have to be assured he was safe, that he was doing the right thing by telling. I've also worked with children as a nurse. It's a totally different approach trying to get clear answers, make sense of exactly what they are saying, what they mean. Totally different approach to communication.

He had a good life before this monster went to court and got joint custody and primary residence was given to him, Corey only meet him when he was 5!!, yes mum had drug issues but she did a programme and got clean and got joint custody. Mum tried everything when she became aware Corey was being abused, she reported the father multiple times, she filed for emergency full custody ( judge denied it). Just the footage of the treadmill is horrifying,if he was concerned about Corey’s health /weight ( he looked fine to me), take him out to a park and ride a bike, play ball with him, let him play and be a child!!!. The judges in this case need to be looked at also, and others involved, abuse isn’t always about bruises and physical evidence, it’s takes all forms!!!
