He was caught on doorbell cam saying he was homeless and needed to call an Uber. He lied about being thrown on the ground by police. Video showed this never happened. This fool has no idea what opening the door means. He’s upset because the State brought in his awful rap video during questioning and was allowed to submit it as evidence, so in his mind he thinks “AHA YOU MENTIONED A DATE! CHECK THIS UNRELATED DOCUMENT ON THAT DATE! hurrdurr he opened tha door!” I can’t stand this guy. Can’t wait until he has to stop LARPing as an attorney and has to be a mere number for the rest of his life. 1:25:00 ish - I’m sorry, I get all the love for the judge, but that right there is EXACTLY what people are talking about when they say she is too soft on him. Everyone already knows that she has to do things a certain way to prevent a mistrial or an appeal from ever going through, but that little antic right there keeps happening over and over and over because he knows he can. No attorney, no witness, no plaintiff, no defendant not even a citizen in the gallery would EVER be allowed to raise their voice like that while standing up to yell at the judge in that manner. No one. Just because she is trying to keep from a mistrial or appeal from happening doesn’t mean she can let him control the courtroom, and that is exactly what he is doing. Representing yourself while already being in jail (making being held in contempt not matter) does NOT mean one can sit and act however they please. That is supposed to be her courtroom. Every attorney I’ve seen cover this case has all said the same: she’s being way too soft and needs to control her house. Stop engaging with him, stop over explaining everything. Mute him, put him in another room, do what you must but move on. That is all allowed to happen and it absolutely won’t cause a mistrial or appeal. That’s not how that stuff works. Controlling your courtroom and demanding respect isn’t going to cause that to happen. She may be wore down because of this trial, but she needs to put her foot down and keep it down. Otherwise it will continue and be drug out even longer. Stop engaging with his antics.
