You are right, just to be handsome don't guarantee you have the world at your feet, you need intelligence, especially emotional intelligence and to be good in at least one thing, to make you feel worthy of love. He lacked that, he is empty and damaged, imo his brain doesn't work properly. He never could have the world, he could get ladies because he was hot, but was unable to form long term relationships because there was nothing else. And he could not go to school, have long term goals in life, follow the rules, etc. Nothing of that he was able to do. So, poor guy, really. but he is not someone that can live outside prison.

The only thing I can say that hasn’t already been said a tonnn of times (and I totally agree with everyone’s sentiment’s is that the defense attorneys were extremely respectful to the people who testified. Every time sleeze ball would whisper any sort of defense in their ear, they never approached questioning with a you’re lying type of attitude that a lot of attorneys do. The prosecution did their job thank GOD and well the defenses hands were tied. They were defending a lunatic murderer who confessed.

I am in no way blaming the victims however, we would be kidding ourselves if we said that these women did not hold some accountability in what happened to them. Obviously, we should be a civilized society where we can meet new people and trust my neighbor without fear of being killed. However, that is not the society that we live in nor has it been a society that we have lived in for decades, and yet with all of the coverage and warnings and lessons that we are taught both of these women did the complete opposite. we have one woman who met a stranger slept with that stranger multiple times without protection in a stranger home, and then took that stranger back to her home and the second woman got in the car with a person that she did not know one of these women is a mother, and I am sure at some point she taught her child not to get in the car with a stranger and don’t speak to strangers and yet she did just that. The other woman, we are a society filled with sexually transmitted diseases and in a country where women have no autonomy to their own bodies. I can look at this man and know that he did not use a condom nor did she require him to use one. I didn’t have to be there to know this as truth. She been showed a complete stranger where she lived and allowed him to come back to her home after knowing him for a matter of hours. We are aware of the dangers, and these two women acted in a blatant disregard for their own lives and that should be taken into account. Lastly, of being under the influence or impaired. Think about it this way if you are unable to provide consent while you are intoxicated or under the influence because at that time, your judgment is so impaired that you are unable to make sound society acceptable decisions then why is it not also true that during an impaired state of mind, you would then not act the way that you would when you are not impaired. In this case, no murders were ever committed in his lifetime aside from when he was completely impaired and the decision to kill this woman and the other happened while he was impaired, and he was in an altered state of mind when the action happened and therefore I submit that it was an an unconscious act versus a decision or choice and therefore premeditation is void. I’ve watched a majority of this case, and there is no way that the state met its burden of proof for premeditation. Absolutely but premeditation absolutely not and this is why a jury of your peers is an unacceptable means to measure guilt. As humans we are all flawed and we all make wrong decisions.

Let's not victimize the victims. Then to add substance abuse as to a reason for what happened is again victimizing the victims. There have been many women and men who have gone out, met people, and even gone home with them but yet haven't killed anyone. He is the only one at fault and killed the 2 women. Twist it the way you want. It won't change what he did.
@carolbenoit22357 ай бұрын
So are you saying it was a mistake he killed 2 women because it sounds like it. It never said how impaired any of them were. It is not a mistake to kill people. It sounds like you are trying to blame everyone but him.
@Nick-ei8lt7 ай бұрын
@@carolbenoit2235 I’m not sure where you got that I’m blaming everyone but him; I’m simply saying that the women aren’t blameless here. They knew better. We all know better. We built this society as it is and are aware that it was built to fear and protect yourself from any and everyone. I stand by my statement. Critical thinking is necessary.
@Nick-ei8lt7 ай бұрын
@@carolbenoit2235 I stand by what I said. Just bc some don’t do it while impaired doesn’t mean everyone won’t while impaired. We are all born with different brains and how we process alcohol and drugs. Again I stand by what I said.

This whole thing could of been prevented if people would stop messing around w strangers, and drugs and alcohol. Especially the one who drove her kid to school hung over, and the people going to work hung over. 🙄 This could of not even happened if they would of said good bye instead of bringing home complete strangers. I dont care if he was "charming" "hot" "easy on the eyes" etc. No man is leaving w me that I dont know. Its sad really. One lady lost her life because she let down her guard, got super drunk, did coke, and the rest spiraled from there.
