Oh that poor couple. I feel so so sorry they had to witness this. So many people are affected by a murder, not just the immediate loved loves. Its like the ripple in a pond when a stones thrown in yet the suspect doesn't even care about anyone or anything.

You want the her to call the police simply because she noticed that the neighbor's garage door was opened ? The important thing is that they attempted to make sure the neighbor was ok. I'm sure she was apprehensive about seeming instrusive/nosy and hence the text and email initially.
