But they knew if they deliver that baby in the hospital they knew they could try to keep them medical staff liable. It's extremely disturbing and I believe the fact that they wanted this baby dead was obvious and planned.

No matter what the hospital did or didn't do, they did NOT put that baby in the trash can and put a plastic bag on top of it. Even if she didn't know she was pregnant, the moment she gave birth she knew that putting it in the trash was wrong. People doing horrible things and blaming anyone but themselves. 😡

Exactly! What was the hospital supposed to do? She kept lying about being pregnant. ER doctors don’t do a full body head to toe assessment. They focus on the area of complaint, in this case her back. Even still this ER doctor was discerning enough to order a pregnancy test and not give standard meds. The only culpable one here is the liar that wrapped an infant in a plastic bag, hid it in the trash, and still continued to lie after.

Yeah, the Hospital might have blown the case though. Nothing in that hospital room is useable in court. She wasn't read her rights and the Nurse brought in Police without consent to discuss medical issues as well as in front of her mother without asking. You are required to ask even if a family member is in the room if it is okay to discuss the medical problems in front of them. The Police went along with it and might have blown the case. She's 100% guilty but they certainly did all they could to screw this case up and help her walk free.

Alexee refused a physical examination and would NOT let the doctor or nurses touch her AT ALL because she knew she was pregnant and would be found out. This was absolutely premeditated and intentional. Her lawsuit against the hospital is a sham.

It's not the hospital's fault. It's an ER, and her complaint was her back, not her belly. There's not a lot of hands-on the ER docs do when your chief complaint is pain.

Isn't pain one of the main reasons people visit the ER and the medical staff are in the business of finding the source of that pain? And yes, labour pain is often felt in the back or deferred elsewhere. Hospital staff have been known to have a laid back approach to labour pains which seems to be the case here.

The rule in the hospital is no one is dead until they r pronounced deceased by a doctor. And another woman also in the labour room pulled her bell and between her and me we yelled. Again she was ok. I’m a cheer coach and no way her coaches didn’t know something was wrong! We have the same brand of uniform and those skirts don’t hide anything and they don’t stretch!!! There is no way she didn’t need to size up in her uniform from the beginning of the season until that picture was taken. The amount of time we spend with our athletes is often more than their parents. I would have notice and I would Not have let it go!!!! I would have want to mom and if she shut me down I would have went to my athletic director, athletic trainer, the principal someone!! I would have demanded she get a doctor’s note saying that the giant mass growing from her abdomen all season isn’t going to kill her if she catches her flyer wrong!!!!

Well I'm not a teenager I'm in my 50s and when I first got pregnant at 15 I had no idea until I was 7 and a 1/2 months. And I only found out because my mom pointed it out That it was a possibility I was still wearing my regular pants. Mind you I was toxcemic and my pregnancy was mostly in my back all of a sudden it just blew forward at 8 and a 1/2 months and then I gave birth.

I'm surprised this doctor would suggest that there is no way that a mentally sound woman would not know she was pregnant. As surprising as it sounds, there are many well documented cases of cryptic pregnancy in medical literature, including instances where the woman had no visible belly, and continued to spot in such as way that it appears to be a period. With that being said, I believe that Ms. Trevizo absolutely knew she was pregnant - she certainly looked pregnant in pictures taken before the baby's birth - and I do not believe there is any reasonable excuse for her actions.

I was 15 pregnant, very strict parents. I tried to hide it, but morning sickness made my parents say. You are pregnant. I was sent an unwed mother's home. Finally, I kept the baby. In those days, that was a big NO NO! It was a long,-time before my family accepted my baby. I do understand the fear, but the love for my baby was even stronger. Same time had another relive that got a girl pregnant. They got married at 15. All was great for them. The family showed support and love.

I answered that I would wrap her in my arms and ask her if she was ok and let her know I love her and for her to be calm in knowing I’ll always be here for her no matter her decision. They were all shocked with my response. Being pregnant can be lonely and frightening. Strict or unreasonable parents can make people become deceitful, scared it can affect your mental health. My mother used to threaten me and my high school friends if we got pregnant she dash us both in the river Thames. We would all awkwardly laugh. There wasn’t any SexEd talk instead. There was no love offered. When I gave birth to my children I was so in love with them. They smelt divine as newborns and they are my world. This is a serious and complex case, I pray Lexi’s baby is at peace and they all get some counselling through this as they face the consequences of all their actions.
