100g fondant 1/4tsp cmc Flatten fondant and add cmc Knead like dough Wrap tightly in cling film & place in zip lock bag and allow it to firm 6-8hrs if using for detailed moulds and 4hrs if using for not so detailed work. If you are preparing weeks in advance make sure to work the fondant every 7days to get it back to an elastic consistency. When using treated fondant make sure to rub it between your hands to get it back to elastic consistency like chewing gum and ther shouldn't be any granuly texture. When pulled the fondant should give a nice long stretch without breaking
