Exactly. The fact that theyre so good, shows Bungie made the game to function like this; to be fun. Not just to work. Things had purpose, meaning. Everything from AI down to basic weapons. It was beautiful

That's why I kinda cringe at the 343 games because they don't really utilize what made halo great in the first place, lets be honest the NPCs are what truly contributed to halos success, large immersive battles with great story.

Reminds of Two Betrayals. Get to the snow field midway through the level, a small Covenant force on a small mount to the right. Grunts, Jackals, a few Elites, and a Shade. Go around to the large rocks and trigger Flood wave. Covenant Flood battle. Half way, a second wave attacks. The Covenant fight them off. The few Elites left are finishing off the Flood when a 3rd wave hits. Tragic.

I either love or hate NPC Wars video types, sometimes the AI are just too stupid to be fun watching, and sometimes it's the editing that doesn't show great angles or something like so. This video? Is one of the BEST honestly most well-done NPC Wars videos out there! The Halo 3 NPC's are smart enough to enjoy watching them fight, the music in the background is killer and adds to the enjoyment IMMENSELY, even people who never mention or don't think they notice the music, they probably wouldn't enjoy the video as much without it, really helps! The angles you give are amazing, showcasing the different battles going on, moving slightly enough to get different views of the same scene but still letting us see what's going on while moving, and using slow motion and pause for dramatic cinematic effect, it's definitely a masterpiece video and one of the reasons I still search for NPC Wars types of videos!
