Here's an idea for a video about technology and scavenging: If the Flood are capable of accessing all knowledge from the people/aliens they assimilate, then why do they never build ships or weapons of their own? We've seen a Gravemind in Halo 3 that had been active for several tens of thousands of years, surely he had assimilated some scientists and engineers at some point, right?

I don't think the Flood would feel the need to. After all, the Flood can exist for an indefinite amount of time, so the timeframe that it takes for the outbreak to occur doesn't really matter to them. They could wait for hundreds of thousands of years without creating or doing anything, because eventually, some species is gonna screw up and release them. Not to mention that building ships and weapons would take resources and effort, and while this would make the initial spreading of the flood easier, once they had found a species' weaponry and vehicles to utilize, the flood-made weaponry and vehicles would most likely become redundant.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WHY IS NO ONE PUSHING FOR BETTER PLAYER MATCHUPS FOR MCC? I can't believe the amount of AFKs that i get, it has driven me to not even want to play MP. I either get paired up with random noobs that purposely troll, or AFKs. If I leave a match because of this reason, I'm the one that gets disciplined. I'm done hard carrying a team because I have 2 split screeners, a noob and an AFK on my team. I can't leave the match without being temporarily banned. The game is coming to PC, I really hope the matchup between players is adjusted to be FAIR. This is BS. I can't even enjoy MCC MP anymore.
