This is the way the cup final should be. 5 minutes after the final whistle and it’s up you go to collect the trophy, massive cheer from the fans as the cup is lifted,and down you go for your lap of honour. Now, it’s an eternity for the team to go and collect the trophy, loud shit music as soon as the captain lifts the cup, and then all the nonsense of players standing around before heading down the steps. So by the time they have started the lap of honour most of the fans have got fed up and buggered off. Not to mention having the official photograph taken in front of the official sponsors advertising hoarding. Take me back to these days please.
