Ok...I need to talk about Firefly. Because??? Why she makes me cry in the middle of the night??? Despite trailblazer only knowing her for like, 20 minutes max??????
I legit was BAWLING my freaking eyes out at 2am when I got to the point in the story where Firefly and Trailblazer were stargazing at this floating rooftop at Dream's Edge and she mentioned her disease (forgot the actual name, but something to do with fading?? Disintegrating??? Gradually????) And out of nowhere I was holding my phone and WEEPING LOL
Like how???? I don't understand, it shouldn't make sense for a player to get THIS emotionally invested in a character with so little exposition and build-up. Like narratively Firefly's arc shouldn't have worked, but for some miraculous reason it fucking DELIVERED.
And I like the dreamy, poetic scenescape at Dream's Edge. The cool tone midnight purple palette works so well, and the soundtrack is great, so I borrowed a snippet of it to weave into this cover's outro.

Excellent performance. Your work deserves recognition. I'll share my opinion about Firefly. That's right, she appeared suddenly and immediately the player was given the opportunity to get emotionally close to her, covering her from the police. After that, she showed her gratitude not only with words, but also with actions, showed sincerity and trusted us, showed her secret place, shared her story. My point is that this character gets into the heart of empathic people and it's perfectly normal to be sad about the events that happened at the end of the quest. I can understand you, I'm hyperfixed on this char and track too. In conclusion, I will say that this Firefly was the first allied character to die in front of the player, perhaps this also plays a big role. Wonderful cover!
