I tend to make my covers first and then decorate the journal to match. I usually have a theme going for each journal. For example, right now, I'm working on a Victorian Nautical one, a fairy forest one, a Pirate's log, a spooky Edgar Allen Poe style, a tribute to Anne Rice, a soft cover Purple and Black, a set of frozen autumn journals... too many!😂❤

I love this journal. It actually inspired me a bit. I haven’t regained much creativeness since the loss of my husband unfortunately but I gotta tell ya, I really am interested in this journal. Also I have to have my cover matching my journal. It would really bother me otherwise lol. 🫶🏼

I was thinking 'Oh no, you've gone too far' but now with the tassel and the cover back on the journal, it's all looking great. Wonderful Tina. I tend to pull a colour or two from the cover throughout the journal if I make the cover first, and I like to make a cover if the journal is already made, to match the insides. But I haven't really tried anything different yet so I will try some random covers on journal that don't actually match it to see what I think. Always challenging me, you are. Thanks, Di

I create the same colors and textures on the covers an that then moves into the inside of my journals. Love all the lace you’ve put on your cover Tina. More is definitely more in my journals too. I have to find someone who has laces in bundles that I can buy for my journals, and get freebies printed off too at a printer if it’s not too expensive.

Such a beautiful journal 😍. Lol you and glue (it's in your song 🙊). Yes it's too expensive to waste lol. OTT is fine by me 😁. Yeah I'm always matchy matchy but trying harder to be eclectic🙈. I'm the same for making decisions lol sometimes crushed under a mountain of supplies just to pick a tiny flower or bow 😄.
