Your back to basics has gotten my creative juices flowing again. I like the picture frame look you use, but unlike you i don't use digital. This morning( 4 am central time US) i figuered out how to get the same look. I choose an image, use a black pen and straight edge to draw a frame around it. Then i used fancy scissors to cut a border around that. I then uesed an alcohol marker to color in the frame part. And they actually turned out. Thanks again having alot of fun with this series.

I made my last attic book from a steven king book 🙊. I've never painted the pages before though, one to try. I think we can forget sometimes that journals are primarily for writing in 🙈. Lol I also still say "bobble" for hair ties, shows our ages🙈. I had to explain to my niece that they were elastics with plastic 'bobbles' to hold them closed. Straightening combs? Cool. That green lace is perfect in that book😍. Hi minidabbydoodah long time no 'see'. She sounds so grown up now 😯. Very cute take on an altered book and satisfying to complete a project in one sitting! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

I love this idea! 💡 I don't have any picture books yet but I hope I remember this when I do! Thanks for sharing! My daughter used to straighten her hair all the time too. She found a product to put in her hair before she straightened it to help make it smooth. We are in the U.S. so not sure what's available there in the U.K. that would be similar

I do love this concept and have altered a notebook. The only part I didn't like was putting the half butterflies on the bird pages and I wouldn't have altered the cover so much.
