Granted, Nebraska hasn't needed a game-winning late drive so far this season. But, they have generated three impressive 2-minute drills to end the first half of all three of their games. Two produced touchdowns, and the third would have done so, if Raiola hadn't slipped on a fourth and goal. Watch that play. It was blocked perfectly and wide open. The most impressive thing about the kid isn't the stats (which have nonetheless been pretty good). It's been the poise and decision making. Real football people understand that comes from being raised by an offensive lineman - a center, properly speaking. If you really want to understand how offenses are run and games are won, ask a fourteen year veteran offensive lineman. That kid has clearly done precisely that, and he obviously listened well.

I was at the giants game. Danny kanell came in for Dave Brown after brown got injured just before halftime. Giants stadium began cheering when brown got hurt. Kanell completed a long pass before halftime
