My old eyes must be going out on me! I never saw your mistake (and I am not a new crafter)!! I do like when y'all share your mistakes and then share how you can overcome and make a gorgeous card!

Thank you for showing us it is okay to be less than perfect. That is what keeps me from crafting most frequently.

Cathy, your card is perfect, and I wouldn't notice the imperfection, so you did a great job covering it up. I've covered up some boo boos in the past. I hate to waste. Thank you for showing us your imperfection as we're all human and mistakes happen. I really like the colors you used.

Love these cards. Such beautiful colors and so perfect for cards for many of my friends, who like me are retired teachers who love to read!

I wouldn’t have even noticed if you hadn’t pointed it out. Your cards are always great. Love your videos, process and of course your fun personality. Thanks for the video.

Many times I've had to use the "cover it up" technique. Thanks, Cathy, for showing that it's ok to cover up mistakes.

What a great video cathy. It's nice to see that when making cards even when a 'pro' mistakes can and do still happen and I think this makes it so much more relatable to people who feel like they are doing something wrong when they actually aren't. ❤

It’s so nice to know that a wonderful designer also makes mistakes too on their cards! Thanks Cathy! Great video and fun fantastic cards.

Girl, it really didn't show up but liked your fix. I think you are like me and if it's not perfection then it's "cr--" but this was cute and makes me want to get my book out and read. Thanks so much for the great tips and encouragement to all of us.

Great cover up and fab cards. You could slice each row of books and put a strip of paper in between to make shelf. So many different ways to use that die. Oooooh one row could go on it's side and be a bookmark, like a stack of books, maybe with a ribbon. Brain is working overtime now, he he.

So many ways, right?

ah good to see it back ;-) they're gorgeous and I love the colors you've used, and yes, I have had to cover up many a mistake or accident ;-) I think i would have cut off the bottom row and diecut another, but I like the way you have saved it more, I probably wouldn't have seen that option in the heat of the moment

Honestly, I have no idea what all the fuss is about! I couldn't detect anything egregious from here! My bigger problem is the stamp, which doesn't appear to me to be to look like books...I originally thought it looked like a circuit board or whatever. Books have titles, these don't. Oh well, the colors/ink blending are lovely!

I think you're your own worse critic. The cards were lovely. A good fix though. I might have chunked them in the recycle. But not yours! I wish I had ALL the Harry Potter books. I do love reading. But when you get started you forget that there is laundry, cooking, cleaning etc. I guess that is the great thing about books. You can lose yourself in them.
