Growing up, my Mom always made Chili and cinnamon rolls for New Years day. All homemade. Yum, Yum!!!!!! Your card is beautiful. But I just want the flowers, so I can use them on Mothers Day cards. I miss my Mom so much. She was a funny, down to earth and great person. Card making was not her craft, but she did a lot of other crafty things. Commenting on videos is not my thing. But I have vowed this year to comment more. You girls work so hard to bring us ideas for card making. I think just a thumbs up is not enough to let you know how much we appreciate you. You are one of the best Cathy Z. Love ya!!!

Happy New Years! 1st, I can't imagine why someone would want to leave you a nasty comment when you are so nice, bubbly, fun & you are taking "YOUR" time to teach & help fellow crafters!!! OMG!!! Anyways, I feel it's good not to engage the negative people!!! It's a waste of your good time & energy! When we engage, react, respond to negative people, we are giving them what they want! They feel it gives them attention, pulling the attention away from you & what you are trying to accomplish & puts the attention on them!!! It's not worth it!!! It probably bothers them more when they are ignored leaving them to ponder "why" they were NOT addressed along with their nasty comment!!! I'm so glad you are not allowing the negative get in the way of what you are here for!!! We all adore you!!! For those who don't, well.......they can just take a powder & let's the winds of negativity take them somewhere else!!! Hugs!!!

Hi Cathy. This was a fun video and you made a beautiful card full of surprises. Just wanted to say that I am so sad that you have anyone criticizing you for anything. I can't imagine what their problem is. If they only knew how much work making videos, blogging, live streaming, etc is -- but then they probably don't care. Anyway, there are many, many more of us that love and respect you so take solace in that. Finally I loved the black eyed pea restaurant. I lived in Dallas in the early 70's and frequented it often. And I am making black eyed peas in the slow cooker right now! I'll serve them with ham over rice AKA Hopping John. Have a great new year and please know you enrich my life with your work and I greatly appreciate it!

Cathy, my Mom always said if you don't have anything nice to say then keep quiet. The person that gave you a nasty comment should have done that. You're the best and loved the card you created. I would have done the same thing and gone to the video and checked out how to do it as sometimes it is NOT clear when we are constructing complicated cards. I love this card and well done.
