Why are so many people saying it’s played too fast? I know the originals are way slower, but this is a cover? An interpretation, where the artist plays from the heart, and not from strict sheet music. I really loved this video. I do in some cases prefer the original, slow version, but this brings out a side of the songs that was previously hidden, and I am so grateful for both this and the originals. This version of Kereon is straight up perfect to me. I have no words to describe how beautiful and raw it is, so thank you so much for this :)

Because tempo matters to most musicians (and because it's a pity to see a clearly talented pianist ignore tempi in this way). And if this a cover rather than a rendition of the composer's musical score, then why deviate only from the tempo and not from other aspects of the compositions?

That upright doesn't sound crappy at all! I loved your performance, although it did feel somewhat rushed (but that's just my personal taste, and not meant as criticism. I'm sure there are others that really like your pacing, though). Keep making beautiful music!
