I’m happy that I found your content. I was raised by malignant narcissist and a covert narcissist. I can’t even describe the struggle. I’m almost 70 and the battle continues…❤

This gives me so much closure. All of my life I have struggled living in a world full of these people and feeling like I am the only one who sees it. Nobody in my family seems to notice OR, they happen to be one of these people. It can be a lonely and crazymaking journey being in this position. And for someone like myself who had been a target of narcissistic and subtle abuse for many years-this information is invaluable. The information you put out here has given me validation and has calmed my heart mind and soul. Thank you so so so much for the work you have done and continue to so.

The many clear examples in In Sheep’s Clothing helped me identify what was happening to me, to get out of the situation, and to start healing. To those who are alone in this, you can’t worry if other people see what you see; you have to care enough about yourself to walk away.

Thank you for this! So true! I am trying to Heal from over 4 decades a covert narcissist abuse. It is hell on earth. All of this resonates with me. I have your first book and will read the others as well! When you say that having good character is an arduous journey that really hit me. I have been fighting my whole life to be me; I have been punished for my values over and over again.

First time visitor here. I love the soft spoken, simple and understandable presentation of the organizing principals on healthy minds and the characters they become. Discernment is at the core of being able to comprehend a lot of the incomprehensible behaviour of covert people. Loved the whole thing and especially the way the message is delivered in such a caring way. 🙏🏼👍

Thank you so much Dr.Simon, you have described the feeling of bewilderment so accurately, it’s healing to hear you say exactly how it feels to deal with these sick people. And stop second guessing oneself. It’s crazy that in these times the people who want the best for others are the ones often questioning themselves when faced with this type of person. Someone who is of good “character” is often made to look bad and the person with evil intentions and no “character” somehow comes out looking great

Your books have helped me so much in my life. I have a question for you about this being a growing problem worsening every generation. How is it that my parents have disabled character while mine is intact despite the terrible way I've been treated?

Great question! Proverbs says we live out of the heart and the issues of life come out of there. So I think heart humility to be corrected or pride to hate correction or instruction which the Bible calls fools. I think your individual resilience and your heart moral compass also helps. Same here. Two of my siblings are full narcs, and I am not and we all had the same upbringing. Great question for Dr Simon. Character matters!

Yes, you are correct. I have covert narc next door neighbors. The woman stayed slim and took better care of her body than I did. But, her character is lousy. She pretends to be good, when I don't see much goodness in her. And I got to know her a little since she moved in. She is more highly thought of than me, and has loads more friends. But me, who was very generous to her, she treats with thinly veiled contempt. I do not like her, and do not want to be her neighbor any longer.

Thank you so much for your work in this very important matter!!! I have found that the challenge I am responsible for is that I seek Christ to be what He wants me to be. My prayer is that He works out His will and character in my life no matter what others are doing. I have realized over the years most people will not listen and I cannot change anyone but myself. Only through Christ in us when we trust in Him can we be good. His goodness must be our goal not our own. Matthew 7:21-23

Thank you Dr. George, it’s hard to find people who understand the damage they do, He was slandering me when he married me, did so much damage loss in a few years, the cruelty in private, soulless person, traumatized me, took and took, never satisfied. In public completely different person, the bullying stealing, 8 months ago kicked him out, I need some direction, Working hard on my healing, he was telling everyone I was crazy and abusive, I paid for everything brought him in my childhood home, cooked for him worked, gave good for evil, nothing works, he was trying to make me crazy, brainwash me, took lots of valuables from my family he had no right to touch. So we’ll hidden is right🙏😭💔they are sadistic., I still have trauma, kicked him out 8 months ago It took me a year of studying to start being able to wrap my mind around this sadistic sociopath. I wish I could talk to you in purpose

Where I have to settle my parents estate, legally had to suspend my brother as trustee, he teamed up w/other brother & his boyfriend, caused a lot of pointless sadistic personal & financial destruction , out of pathological envy sold a very valuable investment that was a shared asset I owned 50% of with my MOM 20 years ago . There behavior was awful Anyway enough & God bless & good night.

A very true and caring message. They are many, in my case using pretend friendship, at work or outside it, and my older brother. Any indication of moral and intellectual failure (eg. lying, hypocrisy, vanity, cheating/adultery, drug use, misplaced anger, asking to borrow money as an adult above 30 years of age who yet can afford smoking or drinking or drugs, all of these are indicators or clues. RUN and have nothing to do with such people.
