Scheletal Swarming aside, that first deck is actually a combo deck: basically if you have Magda, Chariot and Nexus on the field along a bunch of creatures and treasures, you can potentially tutor up your whole deck on the board. The wincon is usually Marauding Blight Priest + Innkeepers, but Swarming is a nice alternative wincon tbh

Yeah opponent had a rough draw. Only one magda, one maskwood, one swarming and one chariot. And CGB had the answers for each of them in turn. The pieces need to work together to really work and they never got a chance.

Fantastic deck as always, and congrats for making it through a rough week! Would it be possible to shift or shrink the bottom right blue banners? They block critical game information (turn counter) which makes it harder to watch. Maybe shrink them to 50% size in the same spot, or run them along the bottom right in a way that doesn't overlap? Not trying to be nitpicky, trying to learn from these awesome games! ^_^ Go streak!

I dont know, if u dont have the time to work on your video recording, but i found it to be a bit too much going on on the screen. I understand, that u have to get ur advertisement going in on your youtube videos (which hides the enemy graveyard), but why is there a panel about your subscriber action in a post-recorded video? Also the title and interpret description of ur streaming music (which i understand u have to highlight for the stream) is hiding more and more of the screen. I thought of theese 2 things as stream features only. I liked the time, where only ur image was there besides the game UI. Dont get me wrong thats crying at a high level, but i just wanted you to know what i feel. If i missed your explannation on theese thing, im sorry. Anyway your my fafourite MTG content creator. The Magda Dwarf deck in the first game is awesome, especially when you include skeletal swarm and one/two copies of Koma to fetch with Magda+treasure

There have to be some "cannot be blocked by XXX type creatures" in the meta, right? I remember playing against the Nexus and I had a Rampart Smasher on board, which suddenly became "cannot be blocked" and I win easily. I mean this is a rare combo, but there's a simple counter to it.

@@moralnexus Not really much of a counter if nobody wants to play it in their normal deck. Who's putting a card like Rampart Smasher in their Clerics deck? Also, a card like Rampart Does a bit of damage, but in the Nexus deck combo you could get Koma down and just tap that Rampart Smasher. On top of that, it's one creature trying to attack.. when all of your creatures suddenly become skeletons and are 9/1 tramplers, who cares about that single Rampart Smasher? The only issue with the Nexus deck (and it will be getting more popular very soon) is that it's a combo deck. Take away the Nexus or Magda (like CBG did) and the decks starts to struggle.

@11:16 I think you take an extra point of damage. The 1/1 zombie comes in, you could stand a 2/2 in front of it. You kill it and they get 2 zombies. But by taking the damage, they still get another zombie and have 2. Either way they have 2 zombies.

I like how CGB points out, "if you practice and get good with a deck..." it can get you to Mythic. He never used to do that. Not everyone realizes that most decks aren't autodecks. Even after you learn them, mastery can take time. That little disclaimer should serve well to let newer/less skilled players know what's up.

You ran into a lack of 2x white for Skyclave a lot. Based on Frank Karsten's great article on mana source requirements, To consistently cast Skyclave on turn 3 you'd need 18 white sources. But your most important turn 1 play is Sentinel, so you need 14 green sources to consistently do that. Can't have both 14 green and 18 white in this deck, but maybe you could cut up to 2 forests in favor of plains to get it evened out a little more (and still have enough 14 green sources)? I don't know how to calculate the Sentinels & Inkeepers in that though, because technically they can both provide white mana too...
