I am 37 years old and live in the US. I lived in Lossie until I was 9 and remember playing in that cave as a Bairn. I miss home. Thank you for this video and the memories. ❤

That video was fantastic! I have walked the beach at Rosemarkie and saw the Caird's Cave, but not the others. Loved the waves rolling in - so relaxing to watch. However, the cave below the school was terribly spooky and I was yelling "No" at the TV, don't go in!! Putting this place on my bucket list when the planes start flying again.

Visited today. Cave turns right then stopped just after where you were. A few more good caves around there apart from sculptors

Hi Paul. The cave you went into is known as Laird's Stable, so called as it was reputed to be where the laird at Gordonstoun his horses during Jacobite rebellion times. Given the size of it, they must have been shelties if that is true! More likely it was a religious hermit's cell and/or used as a store for goods (legal or otherwise) brought on shore here. The doorway etc. pre-date even Victorian times though.

@@pauljamieson888 Nae bother. Some great caves along that stretch. Favourites are the long cave underneath the village, the huge cave just west of Sculptors'Cave, and the double-mouthed cave that takes you into The Bow further west still.

This video is a true gem! As an Author in the U.S., I have been researching the Wizard of Gordonstoun for a new book, now I have a wonderful visual of the caves.

Really enjoyed the video and fair play going so far into the cave! I don't know if I would have. Would love to see a video on sculptors cave or any of the others one day
