Yvette is crazy talented but her tone is pretty gnarly live. It's very muddy and doesn't have any attack. I understand its probably because she's a fingerstyle player and finger picking has a softer attack than a pick but it really does negatively affect the live sound. It makes it sound likes she's playing wrong notes when strings don't ring out well and it makes the tapping sound dull. Not sure how she could fix it but it's something that stands out to me from their live videos.
