I've never been more inspired by a person. Yvette, if you see this. Please know that so many players with unique styles are no longer afraid to play, no longer thinking their style is without merit, and can't wait to create with you in mind. Thank you.

My local guitar store has both of Yvette's signatures and also had her for a clinic a couple weeks ago, I didn't go to the clinic since I didn't hear about it but those guitars sound awesome and play really well too. She's a killer player and seems like such a nice person as well, such an awesome guitarist

Anyone interested in open tunings please look into Kevin Cadogan from original third eye blind - he used several alternate tunings and standard tuning in the first two albums and his use of open strings and attention to the amazing bass playing of Arion Salazar resulted in some amazing song writing and hooks and tones - their opener Losing a whole year is one of the most interesting tunings - it can really narrow down your comfortable keys in that tuning but also creates some interesting problems to solve and ultimately we stumble on more unique things inspired by the differences.

Yvette is great. I wish Ibanez would reissue the whole line of "regular" (Indonesian?) and Prestige (Japan) Talman S and T style (roughly, the pickup configurations for sure, but more Jazzmaster-shaped) guitars on which her Signature guitars are based. There's the "vintage" guitars (mid 90s) and more recent resurrection of those in the 2010s, and the latter were virtually everywhere (online) for a while then all of a sudden not only production (or at least US distribution) ceased, with barely a whisper, but even used disappeared. They've all got a great retro vibe for those looking for an "S" or "T" sound but want something a little different from what everybody else has, even with its somewhat familiar Jazzmaster-esque shape,...but with its own character as well. I love that even the T configured ones have an S-style belly curve and, I think, arm-rest cut, features you can find on Teles but only certain issues, or custom.

This awesome woman needs a rig build by Mason from Vertex Effects and he needs to give her a midi setup super bad. She would be able to do multiple delay and reverb setups without the need for 3 or 4 different pedals.

Love Yvette’s style - really pushes the boundaries of what’s possible on the instrument. However, I’m definitely not as big a fan of the fuzzy tone on this album - makes it hard to hear some of the individual notes.

really wish Ibanez would bring the standard, non signature Talman back into the lineup. I really want one, but I'm the kind of guy who doesn't care to buy guitars I plan on selling basically at all. I'd rather save the money and get something really nice I can play for the rest of my life. Some kind of Prestige Talman would definately be on the list. They're such cool guitars, and a thin and flat ibanez neck with straty tones sounds like a dream
