I can see some people not believing this is how offers really work. Instead they devise a game plan to convert clients that looks like the D-Day invasion, complete with bombing runs, naval artillery attacks, and a full-blown invasion flotilla, when all the client or prospect wants is a solution to their pain-points. Thank you for posting!
@CovetedConsultant2 жыл бұрын
Indeed! It can be a lot simpler if you let it - so for some it takes a while to appreciate JUST how simple it can be.

Explaining complex solution in a easy to understand way is a skill in itself. The more you have a deep understanding about the problem, the better it is to provide solutions alongside the clients.
@CovetedConsultant3 жыл бұрын
It really is a skill...and it's a profitable one too! This skill is easier to master when you focus on one, specific person. Keep going Steve!

This is exactly what I need for my consulting company but it's easier said than done. In IT consulting it's challenging, especially tackling software application and infrastructure projects. Are there ways where I can implement these ideas and make it actionable?
@CovetedConsultant4 жыл бұрын
I hear you Saepius. Even though the video provides a clear framework, it can be challenging to implement. (This is the value of working with expert. The same premise is true for why clients need YOUR help.) If you need more direct, you may want to consider joining my coaching program. You can complete the contact form on the website to express your interest.

Excellent video. Consultants are paid to solve client's problems. What do coaches do? It seems some businesses simply want to know what to do while others want you to implement that for them. Right or wrong?
@CovetedConsultant2 жыл бұрын
Good question. This is a place where business jargon confuses the issue. The "point" is to SEE a problem and SOLVE it. If you are a better "coach" and guide the client through the issue, great. If you are a better "consultant" and you build tools the client can use, great. At the end of the day you will be doing a mix of both anyway.

You are welcome Meegan. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video. What part did you find most insightful?
@sk8erzackt2 жыл бұрын
In this video, most specifically, the way that you break down the importance of communication with clients in regards to their desired outcome and the risks or questions they may have. Walking through this process with them, up front and in the beginning makes perfect sense. It let's you know where on the path potential clients are at, and if working together is possible. It also helps you feel out where they are in regards to the (educational) process of your consulting area.
@CovetedConsultant2 жыл бұрын
@@sk8erzackt I appreciate your thoughtful response. Indeed, the more you get clear before you start work...the more everyone enjoys the project. It's worth the effort in the beginning.

I like these ideas, concepts and formulas. They are believable and applicable. How do we package the consulting service so that the niche enthusiastically responds (buys)?

Power, this video provides a clear step for how to package a service appropriately. Still, I appreciate this concept is harder than it looks. If you need more direct, you may want to consider joining my coaching program. You can complete the contact form on the website to express your interest.

These kinds of packaged services have also imho additional benefits: they can be taught to your employees, and then the business can grow selling more of these solutions.

Can you give real life examples of these offers that your clients have implemented? Are they audits? A strategy framework? I'm not clear
@CovetedConsultant3 жыл бұрын
Good question Rachel. Audit, frameworks, or paid discovery are all possibilities. Beyond the name...the function of the service is most important. Talk to your prospective client, hear a problem, and offer to solve it. I've created 10 different examples - kzbin.info/aero/PLGnHQQs1aqM43rqzv_ksh3IwBlZx0LGp9

I agree Omar. It's very difficult to sell consulting via video without showing your face. It's important for the clients to make a connection with the person they will be working with.
