Covid Day 1 - She's tested positive

My cerebral palsy girl has tested positive for Covid and we have to isolate for 10 days. This is Covid day 1, Elin had a positive lateral flow test this morning. Thanks to co-parenting dad came and took Alice, and brought some supplies. Elin and I then went to a drive-through test centre for PCR tests.
I'm a special needs mum vlogger in the UK with two daughters, one of whom is severely disabled. Elin is a girl with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, she has a feeding tube, is a wheelchair user and as she can't use the toilet independently she is in a nappy / diaper.
Apart from cerebral palsy, Elin has complex medical needs and seizure disorder. She has tonic clonic, or grand mal seizures, partial focal seizures and absence seizures. She is on multiple medications every day, for her spastic muscles, for her reflux disorder and for her epilepsy. Elin is on a blended diet, which we give her through her feeding tube, and I share tips, how to and recipes.
On this channel I share our day to day life, our morning, feeding, medication and bedtime routines, feeding techniques, how Elin communicates, etc. I also showcase the relationship between Elin and her sister Alice, and how they play and interact with each other.

Sorry to hear Elin has Covid. I hope her symptoms continue to be mild. When Raelynn had Covid, she had some respiratory problems, but we stayed on top of them with her breathing treatments, and got through it like a champ! 💪

I love your strength ! ❤️🙏🏻 I caught covid off my non verbal autistic daugther as she caught it from School , I couldn’t isolate and leave her alone as she needs 24 hour care as I can’t leave her to herself so i completely understand where u are coming from. Damn it! I think my girls had it that December too. If she's positive you will get the antivirals within 24 hours of the positive pcr. If it's positive and they don't ring call them. Good luck ❤️❤️

Antivirals, in the UK? That'd be good, the PCR was positive. Hers, that is, mine was negative.

@@ParentXP ring your doctors Elin will be in the at risk list. I got sent out a home pcr just in case, the NHS will contact you within 24 hours. Happily there's a liquid form

Do you mean botox injections? No, we haven't, but she'll have them in her legs when she has the hip surgery.
