Glad you are all doing well. We are five sometimes six and we are a load a day, plus every other day is a towels or linens load. Take care and have a great day.

Family of 4...a load a day, sometimes 2 depending on kitchen towels (which are their own separate load because I don't want towels that touch food type surfaces washed with clothes/towels that touch body surfaces) And then bedding is a different story. 3 beds = 5 or 6 loads depending on season and additional blankets. And after illness, pillows are a whole different monster. We are seriously considering (mostly stationary) RV life so your channel has been fantastic! Thanks for keeping up the content even through your C19. I'm glad you are all feeling better.

So with all the garbage you accumulated over the quarantine time, where did you say you took the garbage to? Walmart? Did you have to ask them? Also, where do you dump the portable sewage and fill you water bags? Do you have a way of transferring from the bags to your trailer? And 26 washer loads is insane and pretty pricey as well. Ya'll NEED to consider a washer at least for your next rig, and as long as you're in warmer climates you can hang dry stuff. But the dryer is a must for say like Alaska. Glad to see you're feeling better.

We usually take a bag of trash with us wherever we go. Walmart has trash bins all over their parking lot and we give them a lot of business. We never take that amount of trash. It's usually a bag at a time. John took that trash to run errands and basically got rid of it a bag at a time at various stops like the gas station, Walmart, etc. We get water from an RV service shop in town that also has a free dump station where we take our shwagon. A washer might be helpful but we already have a spin washer. The problem is the amount if water it uses and the fact that it requires power and we are very power conscience while boondocking. Yes we can hang dry but not the amount needed for our family - it would be every single day and that isn't an efficient use of our time. Even in a bigger rig we don't plan to have a washer. The laundromat is just worth the cost. :)

I cannot imagine doing 26 loads of laundry all at once! You’ve definitely given me perspective for when I complain about doing 3-4 loads at the KOA laundromat. Glad y’all are feeling better!

We're a family of 5, and yes a load per day would be perfectly normal. That said, doing 26 loads at one time is NOT NORMAL! LOL Thanks for all the great videos, adventures, and laughs. Glad you're all doing well now! Cheers from the Witzels in Canada

I understand completely. I live in a fifth wheel trailer, I boondock 100% of the time. I know the challenges involved. With that said my hat is off to you for taking care of family of five. Thank you for the video, glad you are feeling better.

I hope you’re new trailer is a fifth wheel toy hauler so you can fill the back with dresser’s for clothes. 😳 It’s just me and my dog in a 37’ fifth wheel and it gets a bit crowded. 😁

I don't get the "usually we take the garbage to Walmart" ?? You put it in their bin, do you pay? That seems kind of sketchy to me, sorry.
@NoOrdinaryPath
@NoOrdinaryPath 2 жыл бұрын
Totally sketch. 😆 We stealth dump our trash when boondocking. Meaning we take a small bag basically anytime we go out anywhere. Gas stations, car washes, and Walmart parking lots (there are always trash cans all over their lot). We are paying customers wherever we throw away. So it's a little grey area sketchy but it works for now and I don't really feel bad about it.

@@NoOrdinaryPath Amen!! I do the same exact thing. Wherever I buy my groceries and things, I saved the plastic bags and put trash in them and drop them in the trash can when I go get the next load of groceries and things. Hey, what are those garbage cans for, anyway?? :-)
