Very funny. On a more serious note, GMO crops should be avoided at all costs and thankfully (at least the production of it but sadly not the feeding of) are forbidden by law here in the EU. That Austrian cow is a beautiful speci(wo)man of the breed called 'Grauvieh' that goes back to one of the oldest genpool of all bovines. They are particularly suited for high altitudes and rocky mountainous terrain as they are sure of foot. The prettiest German breed is the Murnau Werdenfelser who for me are the pin-ups of the bovine world. I love cattle and think they are the most misunderstood and abused of all animals. I adore them!

I've never heard of this breed - I will look them up. My mother's family milked brown swiss,, so they are supposed to be my favorites, but I actually think that short horns are the prettiest. I will never tell my mother this!
