This song is sooo about my old man. Tough old German dude ( 6'4 and change) who never hurt a fly. Then one day a cowardly little weasel called my mom a "bitch" and my dad grabbed that weasel by the throat, pinned him against wall and told him never to "speak to his wife like that again". I learned do much from him that day, how to be a man and when. And I absolutely never spoke to my mother or another woman like that again. Thanks Dad.

Got EVERY album he’s ever made & even though my friends think I’m NUTS... I genuinely don’t care in the slightest because he just doesn’t sing “lyrics” to the songs he sings.... there’s a STORY behind his music that touches a place where “popular” musicians couldn’t EVER reach nowadays!!!! The message of this song has been forgotten by today’s youth. Young guys today look for fights to try and prove their manhood. They don’t know that real fight only when it’s necessary. Guys today play games at home while their girlfriends work to earn a living. A real man supports his family and protects them.
