A huge con is that instead of a proper honeycomb carbon filter with carbon pellets they have provided a thin carbon urethane sheet. In my opinion it is better to go in for the Airmega 200, storm or 250 which have a proper thick filter.

Nope, no additional carbon filters can be added. The existing one can only be replaced.

Hi , i bought a new one and while smelling the outflowing air , smells like some leather , new shoe kind of smell , is this expected or some problem with the filter ?

@@techienerd9814i don't think airmega 150 has an ionizer my bad. I read somewhere on reddit that it's common for new airmega 150s to give off plastic-y or leathery smell , you gotta run it near an air source like window or doors for the first couple of weeks or so, the smell will go away on it's own eventually.
