Daran Norris' voice is a treasure. Aside from Andy, he's also had roles in Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, Mobile Suit Gundam the 08th MS Team, Tiger & Bunny, etc. I recommend all of those, but especially the last one.

I actually think they should. Vincent’s actions, questions, and realizations at the end are enlightening to Spike and partially feed into his mentality and motivation in the last episodes. I feel that Cowboy Bebop is a slow burn leading to a bright fire, and it is the sum of the experiences that drive the decisions and actions of all the characters at the end. Even though it was released after the series had concluded, the movie still has its proper place within the continuation of the series.

This is another favorite of mine, simply because of how CB parodies itself...by showing us how Spike ACTUALLY looks in the real world. Ever since his introduction: - Relies heavily on luck and "intuition" over actual facts. Case in point: while Jet was getting actual information on their bounty, Spike went to an honest-to-god SHAMAN ON MARS; - Unconventional, outdated treatment used by cowboys when they could have just gone to a hospital: in "Toys in the Attic"; - Doesn't care about collateral damage, which is a prime reason for why they're always BROKE, no matter the size of the bounty; - Is NOT as cool as he thinks he is...because he's a *dirty hipster:* literally refers to himself as a "cowboy", and has modeled his lifestyle around the idea of one. Like...he's obsessed. His clothes are dated, his hair is dated, his ship is (out)dated, he *enjoys* being almost penniless, has a tortured past over a woman, has sleight-of-hand, and whistles his own theme tune. Oh, and he's also a white guy obsessed with Bruce Lee (and in Andy's case...Miyamoto Musashi) - Spike thinks he's charming, wise, and a lady-killer, but is incredibly self-centered, delusional, and runs over his friends and pedestrians ALL THE TIME. Hell, he and Andy even have the same, hardcore fanbase as each other - and despite all of their flaws, they BOTH sell merch and remain the "favorite character"! lmao Spike steadily losing his shit against this rival hipster, and Jet and Faye just *trolling* his ass throughout this episode is brilliant.

The interstitial logo in this one was meant to look like the Flash Gordon logo. Perhaps coincidentally, the same studio that did Cowboy Bebop also worked on The Big O (which is Blade Runner + Batman with giant robots), whose initial theme song was an homage to the Flash Gordon movie theme song by Queen. Unfortunately, it was too close, and they had to change it... to an homage to the theme song of the sci-fi TV show, UFO.

Anime like Cowboy bebop, code geass, death note and maybe steins gate and berserk which are on their poll from what i hear, are much more suitable for a reaction.

The teddy bomber seems to be based on Ted Kaczynski, aka the UNAbomber. I was only a kid when they caught him, but I've learned much more about it now. In this episode the character is downright funny. But the real case of Ted Kaczynski is pretty wild! (And very Tragic). Everyone really should find out more about what happened, if they dont know!

Brook Davis That's the brilliance of cowboy bebop. Even if you don't like an episode as much as some others, there is not a single 'bad' episode. Every cowboy bebop episode has something to tell you. My personal least favourite episode was the chess episode ( session 14 ) but even that episode was so well - written and done that i can't dislike it.
