I understand that some people have their strong reservations on skinny jeans, sometimes I also have them. Yet, I am that guy that wears skinny (stretch) jeans with 14" or 18" height, narrow shaft, cowboy boots, shaft inside jeans. I find it cool and maybe my goal is not to place myself in a western style, yet I really like that aesthetic. A bit of a way to embrace that honorable style without believing myself a cowboy. Just a style that some people may laugh at or criticize, but it is a personal hommage to a respectable and honorable lifestyle. A kinda modern-edgy-"rockery" urban "cowboy" style, if I may take the license to define it. Chelsea boots for me?: maybe not my style. They are intended for slim- straight or skinny jeans, though. It is about embracing the style you identify more and own it, as Jeremiah said.

For me as a Dutch slimfit jeans with pointed cowboyboots (most Sendra boots from Spain) works best for me. I'm tall, slim build so it matches best. For a long time i used to wear bootcut jeans with them but it now has changed

I love the look of the leather on the brown boot! I used to wear Chelsea style boots every day. I still have a pair or two somewhere. They were great in the office and when I went out on a weekend night on the town in a pair of jeans. Straight leg, not skinny. I could never pull off a pair of skinny jeans! I like these Ariat Chelsea boots better than any Ariats I have seen.

Jeremiah, I used to wear trooper boots with 501s, and they left a ring around the jeans just below my knees. So now, I wear 517 boot fit 😊jeans with all my boots. Skinny jeans? Surely you jest!

Ariat insoles are confusing at best. I agree that having two different insoles in the same type of boot is very odd. Some people prefer certain types of insoles and if Ariat is just putting in what they have there is no way to know what you will get. Not really liking the way they finished the look of the heels. The chelsea style differently works with slim/skinny jeans as it was made to do.

I like Chelsea boots and have literally worn out several pairs. I also like these Ariat Chelsea style, but that makes me question why buy a "Western" style that is pretty much indistinguishable from square toe Chelsea boots? Other than simply having a strong attachment to the Brand, I don't see the point. And yes, I like and wear skinny jeans, so the above opinion notwithstanding, I'd wear these Ariats proudly in a pair.

Would be nice if Levis or Wrangler made a form fit jean for the butt and upper legs with a lower straight leg for boots but not boot cut .

Don't think I am the target audience for these boots, square toes aren't my favourite nor are skinny jeans. I prefer the look of the barn brown personally and can definitely see a market for these boots.

Nah, its all good. Chelsea boots are just a layer of how one can style their jeans. I used to wear Chelsea boots, they only worked with skinny-straight jeans.

I can give you a trick that I did, I bought some cowboy boots, I unstitched the side seams of the shaft a little and the problem was solved, I would like to show you a photo or something to whoever needs it just to help

As someone who values function over form, I find both the phrase "skinny jeans" and the concept of Chelsea boots very irksome. Both are anathema to real boots and what they're made for. Chelseas are just common loafers masquerading as boots, and with skinny jeans one may as well be wearing superhero tights because that's kinda what someone looks like with them no matter what boots are on the feet.
